On my heart I'll bear the shame
No prayer can ease the pain
No one will love you
No one will love you the way I do
No one will love you, love you like I do
And there's no escape
Just countless mistakes
No one will love you
No one will love you the way I do
No one will love you, love you like I do
It will never be the same
Witness trust fade away
No one will love you
No one will love you the way I do
No one will love you , love you like I do
No one will love you
No one will love the way I do
No one will love , love you like I do
Love you like I do
Love you like I do
Love you like I do
Love you like I do
No prayer can ease the pain
No one will love you
No one will love you the way I do
No one will love you, love you like I do
And there's no escape
Just countless mistakes
No one will love you
No one will love you the way I do
No one will love you, love you like I do
It will never be the same
Witness trust fade away
No one will love you
No one will love you the way I do
No one will love you , love you like I do
No one will love you
No one will love the way I do
No one will love , love you like I do
Love you like I do
Love you like I do
Love you like I do
Love you like I do

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere.
In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.
Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988.
"'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it."
"There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
WARNING: In this comment I will discuss religious themes, and I in NO WAY mean to imply that H.I.M. adhere to any religion. If you can't understand how this could work, or why they might want to use religious themes, don't bother reading the comment.
Fuck, this song is genius. If you really listen to the words and try to understand what his intentions were, at first it seems like this could be Christ singing, since Christ's love is supposed to be the ultimate love. But then you hear the music and it becomes REALLY ambiguous. There is the sound of what could be a harp--played by a guitar. Then you have the sounds of a dark, gothic cathedral. Valo's voice goes really low. So you start to think, this isn't Christ singing, but Lucifer. It could work for Satan, because in mythology Satan does tempt you with "love," and ("and there's no escape, just countless mistakes") of course no one escapes from Hell. At the same time, it still COULD be Christ singing, but it's after he's been crucified. So when he sings, "It will never be the same Witness trust fade away" it's like saying that now you have to PROVE your love to him, because after being crucified as a false mesiah he has no trust in humanity. Furthermore, if you don't want to take it as being purely about religion, then Valo is comparing himself/the singer to God/Satan (depending on which you ultimately take it to be) in a romantic relationship.
I don't think it's about Christ or Satan. I think it's written from the point of view of an unfaithful party of a relationship.
This is my interpretation: Valo, or whomever he's taking the role of, has cheated on his partner (this is shown in the lines about his heart bearing shame, and the countless mistakes). And now in the song, he's proclaiming his love for her, possibly wanting forgiveness, even though it's useless, because trust has "faded away."
1st to review again and again. probably my fav song on dsbh, every line in this song i can relate to. pretty easy song to understand. "On my heart....ease the pain" means he did sumtin wrong and it will stick w\him 4ever and theres nothing he can do to make it like it nvr happened. v2 "and there's no...countless mistakes" means theres no way to get out of what u did or said, its a mistake u made and u need to live w\it. v3 "it will never...trust fade away" means every mistake he's made makes things more awkward and trust in 1 n' other will deminish. finally..."no 1 will luv u the way i do" through every mistake he still loves the girl more than she knows.
omg! His voice! Woah... I love this song.. it really makes me feel like it's at the end of a relationship, though... But I think that you did an excellent job of explaining the song, Sweet666.
This song I would dedicate to this girl i LOVE and she says she has the same feelings but yet she goes and fucks my friend and still says she has feelings and says she dosent like it. and if she would only know .. "No one would love you, Love you like i do"... its depressing thinking about it... THANKS TO VALO WE KNOW WE ARN'T ALONE

I really adore this song. It's so hauntingly beautiful. His voice is just perfect.
I think this song is recorded under alcohol's affection or so- Ville sounds like a drunken sailor...still not that bad-it goes clear to the bone;)
