anytime but now anywhere but here anyone but me i've got to think about my own life we are consumed by society we are obsessed with variety we are all filled with anxiety that this world would not survive we gotta put it out the sky is burning we gotta put it out the water's burning we gotta put it out the earth is burning outrage but then they say... anytime but now anywhere but here anyone but me i've got to think about my own life the world is not our facility we have a responsibility to use our abilities to keep this place alive right here right now do it. now. do it.

General CommentYeah, but the point is that people only get upset when it's effecting them.

"Outrage...but then they say..." basically then they say "Someone ELSE save the world! I can't do it!"

General CommentYeah, it is about doing more than just noticing a problem...you should DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT.

General CommentI can't help but think of nuclear testing when I hear this song. "the sky is burning", "the waters burning", and "the earth is burning" represents how the US and Soviets were testing nukes in the atmosphere, underwater and underground.

"world is not our facility we have a responsibility to use our abilities to keep this place alive" The world we live in isn't some labratory where we could haphazardly test things. We have to do everything we can to perserve our world.

General Commentyeah its fairly obviously what this song is about -
there are some serious issues going on in the world and people only seem to care about their own personal problems
