We're never been apart
The day has come
I'm feeling that your sun
Shines away from me

Tease me
Holding my hands you smile again
I couldn't see you away from me
I do realize it now

Living in me
You are living in me

You are living in me

I feel you by my side
Your living soul wants to run away with me
Inside of me

And now
Will something happen to me?
How did I lose my guide?
You left me all alone

But now it is to late
I know it is natural but now
What can I do without your presence here?
A never-ending pain

Living in me

You are living in me

I feel you by my side
Your living soul wants to run away with me
Inside of me

I feel you by my side
And I'm sure that I can't forget you
You are inside of me

You are inside of me

I love this song... I believe that the lyrics tell the story of a person who has fallen for another. The other person tends to lead them on somewhat and as such, the singer continues to get hurt and fall further for them... Haven't most of us been there???

I actually think this song refers to God or a god, but I personally take it in as a love song.

this is a love song..i can really relate to it, its seems like everytime i open up to someone i loose them so i'm now just really afraid to loose people when i find them and i've come to expect it...But i had a very wonderful relationship with someone and i lost them and looking back on it i can see, like she says," Holding my hands you smile again I couldn't see you away from me I do realize it now" i just cant explain what i'm trying to say but this is one of the best songs lacuna coil has ever written...

I think this song may be about somoone who died

"Your living soul wants to run away with me"-they're dead, but you need them so much, it feels like their soul is still alive

"What can I do without your presence here?"-again,a presence that although still lingers, cannot really help you

classic coil. this is so much better than their new stuff, i definitely recommend it because not too many of the scene kids know much about anything before Comalies.

Hmmm, what I get from this is that someone is gone or dead, but they are still there in spirit and its tormenting the person because as much as they love having them there, its still horrible because its just a tease. They can never have them physically there again.

like Cut and Bleeding said, I also think its about someone who's died and their soul follows the loved one

yeah by far this is definitely the best song on the unleashed memories album. favorite album for sure.. well maybe...maybe...within a reverie was differently awesome too.

but i totally think this is like a classic i love you so much but we just didn't work. either way this song is for sure about the loss of someone close the heart hence the sounding of unending pain. you know it all depends on who's listening.

This song perfectly discribes the feeling of loss.

We've never been apart (The person in this song has lost a loved one, but he/she can still sense their spirit) The day has come I'm feeling that your sun Shines away from me (The spirit lingers for a while to ease the pain but it is finally time for it to move on, to the "light", and I say light cause the word "sun" makes think of that)

Tease me Holding my hands you smile again I couldn't see you away from me I do realize it now (The spirit says a final goodbye and the alive admits that he/she never felt alone cause even now he/she is dead, a piece of him/her survives in trhe heart of the living*)

Living in me You are living in me (*)

    Your are living in me

I feel you by my side (x2) Your living soul wants to run away with me Inside of me (They both still eager to be together, but they can't. However he is still in her heart, an sancuary where they can be eternally together.)

And now Will something happen to me? How did I lose my guide? You left me all alone (The living feels lost and desparate without the beloved. The deceased was the living's guide, and now that he/she is gone the living feels alone)

But now is too late I know is natural but now What can I do without your presence here? A never-ending pain ( He/She knows they can't be together. The dead moves on, to the light, and the living realises this is what was meant to happen, however the presence of his/her spirit eased the pain of loss which is now back)

I feel you by my side And I'm sure that I can't forget you You are inside of me (But, despite the pain and the loneliness, the living understands that though the beloved one is gone, physically and spiritually, a part of him/her will be forever inside his/her soul, a reminder of their love)

    You are inside of me

An amazing song, so touching and full of emotions... This song could easily be the soundtrack of Ghost Whisperer as the whole atmospaire I get from it is the same with the one I get when I watch the series ! Such a pity rock of this kind isn't that popular to make LC have a soundtrack of a famous series...

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.
