Sitting in a corner all alone,
Staring from the bottom of his soul,
Watching the night come in from the window, window

It'll all collapse tonight, the full moon is here again
In sickness and in health, understanding so demanding
It has no name, there's one for every season
Makes him insane to know

Running away from it all
"I'll be safe in the cornfields", he thinks
Hunted by his own
Again he feels the moon rising on the sky

Find a barn which to sleep in, but can he hide anymore
Someone's at the door, understanding too demanding
Can this be wrong, it's love that is not ending
Makes him insane to know

She should not lock the open door
(Run away, run away, run away)
Full moon is on the sky and he's not a man anymore
She sees the change in him but can't
(Run away, run away, run away)
See what became out of her man
Full moon

Swimming across the bay,
The night is gray, so calm today
She doesn't wanna wait
"We've gotta make the love complete tonight."

In the mist of the morning he cannot fight anymore
Hundred moons or more, he's been howling
Knock on the door, a scream that is soon ending
Mess on the floor again

She should not lock the open door
(Run away, run away, run away)
Full moon is on the sky and he's not a man anymore
She sees the change in him but can't
(Run, away run away, run away)
See what became out of her man

She should not lock the open door
(Run away, run away, run away)
Full moon is on the sky and he's not a man anymore
She sees the change in him but can't
(Run away, run away, run away)
See what became out of darling man

She should not lock the open door
(Run away, run away, run away)
Full moon is on the sky and he's not a man anymore

Whoa

See what became out of her man

General CommentApparently about a guy who is a werewolf and his wife/girlfriend is chasing him cause he ran out in the middle of the night when they were supposed to be "having fun" and then he turns into a wolf and kills her. Pretty self-explanatory. I love this song.

General CommentI think this song is more metaphorical than the simple "werewolf kills chick" story.
This song is about how she wants to "complete the love" but he's afraid, and he becomes a terrible person because she wants to love him but he's hiding in his werewolf shell.
It's also saying that she's terrified of him, he's become very emotional because of her love and she can't escape from him, but that she shouldn't lock the door he's opened by showing her his emotions.

If that was all confusing, look at it simpler: Man turns into an emotional "monster" and looks for a place to hide from them so she won't see him like this, but she insists on seeing him and finds only this emotional wreck.

General CommentAt first sight I think this song it's about a man that turns into a werewolf because of the full moon, but after reading "ThePython"'s explanation, I thought about it and I think that explanation could be posible. In stead of all this, I like this song. The lyrics are amazing, but I think the rythm is OK too. (sorry for my english, I'm Spanish ^^)

Ningún español por akí??? Se ve q lo weno no abunda mucho :( XDD

General Commentwell i read yours before thinking about it, but
it seems that the guy is running away because he is suffering from this love, though the girl goes after him...
the werewolf thing seems the way he's feeling, suffering as a werewolf.. dunno, this is what i think :P

General CommentI think that there are two "she": woman who loves the guy and "full moon"-his obsession(it could be another woman or some thing he is addicted to,like drugs). the man can't control himself and his obsession takes him over and over again. but every time it ends he feels awful,he's howling, knowing of
thousands moon more to come and knowing that he won't be able to stop.and his woman loves him too much to see that his obsession took all the place in his heart leaving nothing for love

General Commentwow man.. finally what ive been lookin for...
Sonata A are the best n they're writin is uncomprehensible.... the music is niiice... hard and easy on guitar!

    anyways, tru..

ima put my own thingy then discuss the other points of view which left me wide mouthed or wide eyed, w-e..

tru, the song is about a werewolf, like "Wolf and raven" they put wolfs.
many of these bands are obssessed with fairytales and that good stuff, so its not surprising that SA are writin about werewolves..

so of korse, the man is stanidn alone with fear o being caught and/or hurtin someone (or hurtin his girl)...
Werewolves are (if they existed) hunted by men, but they are also dangerous and they hunt men...
So he tries to hide himself, yet his girl find him...

"It has no name, there's one for every season"
    i dont understand that.

""I'll be safe in the cornfields"," as in safe from ppl who wanna hurt him or that he could hurt.

"find a barn which to sleep in, but can he hide anymore
    Someones at the door"

he wants to hide from everybody but some one knows where he is or has found him by coincidence...

    ", understanding too demanding"

Like python says, she loves him n wants him, but maybe thats what skares him too, kos she wants him that much that it becomes more "demanding" than "understanding"...

"Can this be wrong, it's love that is not ending
    Makes him insane again"

this is not the 1st time it has happened, so maybe he has killed the girl he loves someime b4 too...

"She should not lock the open door"
dont understand that yet, not even much with Python's explanation, lol...

"(run away run away, run way)"
run away from him.... or maybe he runs away from her, but nahh, she from him...
(i hate how the bakcin volcals sound so high that they sound gay)

"Fullmoon is on the sky and He's not a man anymore"
prety obviouse he turned into this monster...

"She sees the change in Him but can't
(run away run away, run away)
See what beccame out of her man... Fullmoon"

    this makes sense like
"She sees the change in Him but can't
run away run away, run away"

    and
"She sees the change in Him but can't
See what beccame out of her man... Fullmoon"

so maybe she cant runaway now, kos he's unto her, or she loves him that much that she can't see the change that he is enduring... or maybe its just dark and she doesnt kno the danger about to be faced...

    "She doesn't wanna wait.
"We've gotta make the love complete tonight...""

maybe she's tired of waitin for him, or maybe they never actually fnishd doing "it".
or maybe is some kind of metaphor for love, not as in makin love, but as in loving each other despite the differences or fears or w-e...

"In the mist of the morning he cannot fight anymore
Thousands moon or more, he's been howling
Knock on the door, and scream that is soon ending
    Mess on the floor again..."
maybe when he's fear is gone he feels weak, when hes not a werewolf anymore he is weak... and it's always like this, since he might b immortal its always the same thing, night after night.. or maybe the same thing with this particular girl......

"Knock on the door, and scream that is soon ending
    Mess on the floor again..."
pretty obvious and st8 forward... his 1st reaction was to kill who ever was at the door..
but, why "knock" if the door is "open"???

"We should not lock the open door
(run away run away, run away)
Fullmoon is on the sky and he's not a man anymore
We see the change in him but can't
(run away run away, run away) See what became out of her darling man

See what became out of that man"
Don;t know if it really becomes "we", but that would mean that "she" is no more... that she is now gone, he killed her, and we are the ones left to see what has happened and how she probably loved him so much that she coudlnt see the change in him...

so all in all is the story of a werewolf who kills his girlone night, the love of his life, probably... And how she loved him so much that she was blind to the problem...
