When I was young I craved a hamburger
My mom said, "Son let's head to the car!"
We were low on gas so I ditched her ass
I needed my nuggets in 5 seconds flat
Past the desert and past the ocean
I'd travel for miles just to get there
Finally there with a smile everywhere

Lets goto mcdonalds my friend it's not far
we need a bright smile and we get a toy car
I need Mcdonalds now
Chicken mcnuggets and supersized fries
if i can't get there you know that I cry

Mcdonalds has ronald and grimis too
The big purple dude with size 60 shoes
And who's the wise one who stole all our food
I think that they call him the hambugler dude
And how bout that chicken I can't remember her name
She wore a pilot hat do ya know what I mean
And who's the father of those chicken mcnuggets

Lets goto mcdonalds my friend it's not far
we need a bright smile and we get a toy car
I need Mcdonalds now
Chicken mcnuggets and supersized fries
if i can't get there you know that I cry

Why get a burger from burger king?
The employes there they don't even sing
and how bout that wendy's man named dave thomas
i wouldn't trust him with my food
And how bout that taco? that taco bell dog
we'll cut off it's head and tie it to the hood of my car
there is just one place left for me

Lets goto mcdonalds my friend it's not far
It might clog our arteries but for now it's just fine
Micky D's say you'll be mine
Sometimes i wish mcdonalds grew on trees
the best place on earth where the smiles are for free

We love to see you smile.

I think to truly understand why its wrote such a meaningful song, is to deal with the universal meaning of hunger. we all have hunger: to love, to be free, to hate, to everything, even just plain old quenching that stomach rumbling. ITS is truly a universal band and you should go see their website at angelfire.com/pokemon2/introtospanish it's really great, just like them, STOP THE HUNGER AND GOTO MCDONALDS!

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
