"Let's Burn Down The Cornfield" as written by and Randy Newman....
Let's burn down the cornfield
Let's burn down the cornfield
And we can listen to it burn

You hide behind the oak tree
You hide behind the oak tree
Stay out of danger 'till I return

Oh, it's so good
On a cold night
To have a fire
Burnin' warm and bright

You hide behind the oak tree
You hide behind the oak tree
Stay out of danger 'till I return

Let's burn down the cornfield
Let's burn down the cornfield
And I'll make love to you while it's burnin

General CommentI have no idea if there's a deeper meaning here, as there usually is with Newman, but I doubt if there is that he'd hide it. I think it's safe to take this song at face level; it's a delightfully wonky love song sung seemingly by a pyro.

I just love the instrumentation. The bass, guitar, the bubbling percussion all add up to an incredibly dark and almost demonic sound.
