"Identity Crisis" as written by Edward Carrington Breckenridge, James Riley Breckenridge, Dustin Michael Kensrue and Teppei Teranishi....
Image marred by self-infliction
Private wars on my soul waged
Heart is scarred by dual volitions
Juxtaposed and both engaged
Kindle flame, a test of faith
Pray help me see it through

I put all my trust in you

Refine hate and love
Fall afresh on me
End this crisis of
Identity

Draw this darkness out like poison
Stab, retrieve, again decline
Help me drive the dagger deeper
Trace with me explicit line
Take this blade, a test of faith,
And strike me deep and true

I put all my trust in you

Refine hate and love
Fall afresh on me
End this crisis of
Identity

This is my voice, all shadows stayed this is my heart, upon the altar laid
Please take all else away, hear my cry, I beg, I plead, I pray
I'll walk into the flame, a calculated risk to further bless your name

So strike me deep and true, and in your strength I will live and die both unto you.

General Commenti think you should relize all music has meanings.
    no matter what genre.
and you shouldnt trash things other people love.
opinions should be spoken but you should value other peoples also.

General Commentthis song is about an internal decision that has to be made or an intense problem that has to be solved. i sincerely think thaat when he says "i put all my trust in you" and when he says "a calculated risk to further bless thy name" and "i will live and die both unto you", he is referring to God. hes asking for guidance

General Commentif u really think that Willy, maybe you havent been reading these lyrics... and if you think there is no coordination maybe you could listen to some of those guitar skillz you will never have. seriously though, just listen to deadbolt or t&c and tell me those take no skill. the songs arent dominated by screaming, its just used to show emotion.... anyways its a hell of a lot better than will smith... gettin jiggy wit it (na nanana nana na)
