"Regular People (Conceit)" as written by and Vincent Paul/abbott Abbott....
I've trampled on that road
That you think you own
You have that 'smart ass' attitude
It's time to stop the fiction

I live it every day
While you're mind's far away
I'm out here putting pride on the line
And you case on me with pure respect
One chance at one thing
Hard time is coming
My time, your pain
I reign on you

You think you own
I take away
Take it with me
You think you own
I took away
Made it my own

Most regular people would say it's hard
And any streetwise son of a bitch knows
Don't fuck with this

The so many times
You practice in your mirror
To be just like me
But you just can't see
You ain't got the balls, son

I fight for love of brother
Your friends fight one another
You can't see because your head's up your ass
And just in cast you think you're bad
I crush your rush
I rule you fool
I'm immovable stone in your world of weak I speak

General CommentThis song is about dumb faggots who try to be tough all the time for the sake of being tough or trying to brag. And they think phil will think they are cool for doing so but he just "crushes there rush."

General CommentI love this fucking song... it's practically become my anthem. So many people think they're big and fucking bad, you gotta slap those mother fuckers back down to Earth.

    Truly...

General Commentthis always makes me think of guys where i work. im a bouncer and there are so many little playas acting tough, and jumping round like they looking for trouble, then shit themselves when shit flares up.

To all you little wizards* out there, eat a dick, and come crashing back down to reality before u crash in a hospital bed.

*wizards meaning a little guy trying to hide behind something much bigger

General Commenti agree with both of you, and i think that phil's pretty much saying like fuck the status quo everyone who is a poser needs to fucking die, which is very true, also that fucking regular people with their little "normal" pussy lives dont repspect the hard work and great talent behind pantera and metal in general

General CommentPantera is badass, and this is a pretty awesome song to just crank up and go crazy to, but I laugh at most of the people who have commented so far, mostly cubbie and lostinmetal.

First of all Cubbie, look at how you are talking on an internet song comment site. Saying how people acting tough are "dumb faggots." If that's not contradictory, I don't know what is.

And lostinmetal, good job completely insulting someone for their opinion. I can see where that guy is coming from, the lyrics are a bit ridiculous, but it's just a fun song. No need to take what some guy says on a website so seriously, or use language that makes you look like an idiot.

General CommentThe riff in the intro and during the chorus is seriously my fave metal riff ever.

Not surprising as Pantera are THE EPITOME of what HEAVY METAL is!!!!
