"This Love" as written by and Vincent Paul/abbott Abbott....
If ever words were spoken
Painful and untrue
I said I loved but I lied
In my life
All I wanted
Was the keeping
Of someone like you
As it turns out
Deeper within me
Love was twisted and pointed at you

Never ending pain, quickly ending life

You keep this love, thing, child, toy
You keep this love, fist, scar, break
You keep this love

I'd been the tempting one
Stole her from herself
This gift in pain
Her pain was life
And sometimes I feel so sorry
I regret this the hurting of you
But you make me so unhappy
I'd take my life and leave love with you

I'd kill myself for you, I'd kill you for myself

You keep this love, thing, child, toy
You keep this love, fist, scar, break
You keep this love

No more head trips

General Commenti dont think it is, i think its about being with someone who doesnt really love you, they just need youre devotion and then when they cant handle that anymore, they say sorry, i didnt actually love you, i didnt want to hurt you either. they want to escape, but they want you to be there for them always, id take my life and leave love with you, its like oh id die, but you must love me always

General CommentThe video shows prostitutes and how they're treated, as someone said before, but it might not quite be about prostitutes... who knows...

Personally, this reminds me of my current relationship, especially the lines "And sometimes I feel so sorry / I regret this the hurting of you / But you make me so unhappy / I'd take my life and leave love with you". I relate to it, because I will regret hurting her (by dumping her) but the relationship makes me so unhappy, makes me feel so trapped, I can't stand it.

General CommentIts a guy who never could express his love to his girl. Who in turn never realized he loved her. Both silently suffered. But he made a song about it. And the boy likes to blame for he has suffered A LOT.

General CommentObviously about a relationship that ended... He realizes that she wasn't the right one for him, yet he still wanted her... that and he speaks of how they would both intentionally hurt one another throughout the relationship

General CommentThis song is about a relationship that hurt both of the people in it but once it ended he realized he still wanted her and he wasn't quite sure why. I love Pantera they are the gods of rock!! They will forever be the best and Phil Anselmo is the fuckin coolest person alive!! Ya'll need to check out his side band, Superjoint Ritual!! They kick ass!

General CommentI think its like, the person, that the songs about, is hurt, by another one, not both of them hurting each other. It's more like, take your love and keep it for yourself you fucking prick. He's very sad but very angry at the same time or something.

General CommentI think this is a kiss-off song...he was with her and loved her and now he's had enough of her sh*t so he left....
I think he's happy to get rid of her....finally.
    just my thoughts...

General CommentThis song almost perfectly describes the way I feel about a past relationship. It seems to me that the beginning of the relationship was good, but it really soured. They grew apart, but still had feelings for each other so it was strung out much longer than it should have been. By the end He both loved and hated her.
