"Change The World" as written by Gordon Scott Kennedy, Wayne Kirkpatrick and Tommy L. Sims....
If I could reach the stars, I'd pull one down for you
Shine it on my heart, so you could see the truth
That this love I have inside, is everything it seems
But for now I find, it's only in my dreams

That I can change the world
I would be the sunlight in your universe
You will think my love was really something good
Baby, if I could, change the world

If I could be king, even for a day
I'd take you as my queen, I'd have it no other way
And our love will rule, in this kingdom we have made
Till then I'd be a fool, wishin' for the day

That I can change the world
I would be the sunlight in your universe
You will think my love was really something good
Baby, if I could, change the world

Baby, if I could change the world

That I can change the world
I would be the sunlight in your universe
You will think my love was really something good
Baby, if I could, change the world

Baby, if I could change the world

General Commentthis song, words can't even describe how amazing it is (and so underrated!) this song reminds me of the situation i was in, especially the first verse:
If I can reach the stars,
    Pull one down for you,
    Shine it on my heart
So you could see the truth:
That this love I have inside
    Is everything it seems.
    But for now I find
    It's only in my dreams.

so true and such beautiful lyrics

General CommentMan, I have definately felt this way before. And while I've never had these feelings returned to me, I'd give anything to feel them again. Yup. That's for sure.

General CommentI can't believe no one has commented on this song. It's great. First on my playlist, that's for sure. I used to listen to this song a while ago, and I just remembered it when I saw Baby Face and Stevie Wonder sing it on TV a few nights back. Anyone that hasn't heard this song, which is hopefully no one, get a copy of it right now. It's beautiful.
