"Supervixen" as written by Shirley Ann Manson, Bryan David Vig, Douglas Elwin Erickson and Steve W Marker....
Come down to my house
Stick a stone in your mouth
You can always pull out
If you like it too much
Make a whole new religion
A falling star that you cannot live without
And I'll feed your obsession
There'll be nothing but this thing that you'll never doubt
A hit is hard to resist
And I never miss
I can take you out
With just a flick of my wrist
Make a whole new religion
A falling star that you cannot live without
And I'll feed your obsessions
There is nothing but this thing that you'll never doubt
This thing you'll never doubt
And I'll feed your obsession
The falling star that you cannot live without
I will be your religion
This thing you'll never doubt
You're not the only one
You're not the only one
Bow down to me
Bow down to me
Bow down to me
Bow down to me
Bow down to me
Bow down to me
Bow down to me

    General CommentAh, mission statement!

And its great to have this point of view represented. Too many lyrics about unrequited love, selfdepreciating love, wasted love and all told from the perspective of the poor wronged or losing party (usually a woman, too) - this one for all the man- and woman-eaters out there. I'm a believer, btw... ;)

General CommentYeah, she sets herself up as a new religion, which is quite a thing to do on the first track of your first album!

    General Comment^so noted.
This is the perfect opening track to a great album. It just sums up their whole sound that definetly sets them apart. Great song.
It's also got this great domination vibe to it.

General CommentJust like the title, this is about a Supervixen. This girl can control boys and control them well. She knows just what to say and just what to do to make you rely on her completely, to make her the only thing you'll ever think you need.

General CommentThis is an awesome song - I agree with Octoberclown. It's about a girl who has guys wrapped around her little finger.

General Commenti love this song! it's a much needed change from the pop music trend of praising 'supervixens' solely for their outstanding physical features. i like that this song is from the woman's point of view. . . we know exactly how much power we have, but also that it can be abused.

General CommentI'd bow down to Shirley Manson. And I'd take a good beating from her. Gladly.
