I'm always wondering where I went right
After all the wrong turns that I've made
But I wound up here in your arms tonight
And there ain't a thing that I'd change

Never prayed all that much
Wasn't too big on love
Now I'm thanking my lucky stars up above

I owe a hell of a lot to heaven
For sending you on down
Turning lost into found
You know where I'd be, there's no telling
Keep waiting on the day for you to fly away
And put those wings to good use
But that ain't what angels do

You go where I go, ain't afraid of the dark
Can't help but light up every room
You don't hold back, you go straight for the heart
And love me right down to the truth

Never prayed all that much
Wasn't too big on love
Now I'm thanking my lucky stars up above

I owe a hell of a lot to heaven
For sending you on down
Turning lost into found
You know where I'd be, there's no telling
Keep waiting on the day for you to fly away
And put those wings to good use
But that ain't what angels do

I owe a hell of a lot to heaven
For sending you on down
Turning lost into found
You know where I'd be, there's no telling
I keep waiting on the day for you to fly away
And put those wings to good use
But that ain't what angels do
At least not like you

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Midnight
Ed Sheeran
“Midnight” is a song about finding a love that is so true that it provides a calming feeling through every storm. Ed Sheeran reflects on his good fortunes in landing someone with such peace and support and speaks of not fearing the dark days because he knows they’ll all end in the safety nets of her arms. “Well, good morning there / What a way to start the day / With everything laid bare,” Ed Sheeran sings in the first verse, enthusiastic to be waking up beside his woman. He apologizes for missing her calls in the second verse and promises to return them because for him, speaking to her is the most important thing. “Well, I get lost inside my head / In this chaos, you’re my calm / And I will find my feet again / ‘Cause еven the worst days of my life will always еnd / At midnight in your arms,” sings Ed Sheeran in the chorus, revelling in his good luck.
