The devil, he's at my door
And I know what he came here for
The kind of fun that I adore
I let him enter to make some more

Fire, it burn my skin
But I still want to play with it
Like a shark fin in the swim
I cut myself and jump on in

Ah ah ah ah ah
Ah ah ah ah ah
Ah ah ah ah ah
Ah ah ah ooooh

Baby boy
Baby brother
We're losing you to the gutter

A woman, she's at my door
And too bad it's my best friend's girl
She's a-cooking up a civil war
I'm dumb enough to storm the shores, yeah

There's a red light up ahead
I drive my car into it
I'm a little kid with a big death wish
I bite the lips, the lips that kiss

Ah ah ah ah ah
Ah ah ah ah ah
Ah ah ah ah ah
Ah ah ah ooooh

Baby boy
Baby brother
We're losing you to the gutter

Baby boy
Baby brother
We're losing you, is it forever?

Baby boy
Baby brother
We're losing you to the gutter

Baby boy
Baby brother
We're losing you, is it forever?

Aaaahhhhhhhh
Aaaahhhhhhhh

The devil, he's at my door
And I know what he came here for
The kind of fun that I adore
I let him enter to make some more

Song MeaningRyan said in an interview somewhere on YouTube that the meaning of the song is basically a conversation between him and Molly.

In the video, the interviewer asks them how being in a band has impacted their sibling bond and their music to which Ryan replies that the music has helped them to have conversations that are typically hard to have with each other, 'Baby Boy' being one of them.

He goes on to say that the song is basically someone (him) who is dwindling down into this spiral of self-destruction and how this person is calling out to someone for help, that someone in this case being Molly (of course this someone is just general for anybody).
