I saw your echo child, my eyes have tainted
The blood of your cradle, my knees were painted
I died that day, when you were ascended
To Christ miscarried, from death to life remembered

You will never be a child of Empire
One day we will meet face to face
In the kingdom of those not dead
Transcend from flesh we will be

Two deaths I feel, but never see
Two lives I feel, never to be
Daughter to you I write, this letter of blood and soul
You will never read, falls of crimson free

Death before birth, straight into the eyes of God
The only freedom from this rule of flesh and hate
Blood you know, but never fire
our sadness falls, you are eternal

My daughter, never flesh my eyes will see
Time will never corrupt, nor pain scar thee
Soon I will pass from history's ages
I will see you soon, thee never born, but always free

Two deaths I feel, but never see
Two lives I feel, never to be
Daughter to you I write, this letter of blood and soul
You will never read, falls of crimson free

As I leave this body
I see you again in glory
Paradise here to be
United spirits free

    General CommentSo brutal and inspirational!
It's a song to a miscarried 'baby'. So touching and personal, so intense... Wow!
I love (like in a lot of Farscape tracks) how you can hear the bass guitar rumbling along with some cool riffs throughout the song. Very nicely done.
