EPIC RAP BATTLES OF HISTORY!
WONDER WOMAN!
VERSUS!
STEVIE WONDER!
BEGIN!

Woman:
Wonder Woman fly, im about to tell you why
Princess Diana but this lady dont Die
My rhymes are signed, sealed, and delivered on time
You're a bald has-been, im in my Amazon Prime!
Ill tell you what I say, you bit your style from Ray
The grin and the shades and the king cobra head sway
The Gods made me outta clay and then they broke the mold
Im like Gina Davis, in a Justice League of my own!
I just called to say that you need to ditch the hairbeads
Looking like a predator after some chemotherapy
But dont be scared, I let bats down easy
So you dont gotta worry about a thing, Little Stevie

Stevie:
I feel like this is the beginning (hey, whoaaaah)
But you have sucked for a few thousand years (HO!)
Im a man who comes from a higher ground (HEY!)
But i'd say DC is a whole step down
Ive been spitting out htis since both fingertips
So use the tip of your fingers and read my lips
How are you gonna talk about a bat bein' blind?
You need to Echo-Relocate to the fourth of july
'Cause you're Miss Independant, or at least you try
But your first story is you running off with a guy
Lemme tell ya the truth, cuz I know you got that lasso
You got that whack flow! Suffering Saphro!
Im a ceremony master blaster with the bars
And i got more grammys than your panties got stars

Woman:
Well im Woman who Wonder what you're thinking
Some of your records make me WISH you started drinking!
But even if I stick to the best selections?
Your Youtube videos raise some vision questions!

Stevie:
Your ignorant questions can never cause as much pain
As never knowing how stupid you look in an airplane
You're a misguided, C-Minus on the Bechdal test joke
And my worst song is better than your best TV Show

Woman:
Look, I dont wanna judge a talking book by its cover
But of the Vegan Buffet, you're a full time lover
And a part time father from what i Discovered
Nine different kids with five different mothers!

Stevie:
You couldnt walk in my shoes, so stick to your reboots
With a plot so thin even I could see through
Its not a superstition, i believe you got dissed
Not even your tiara's comin' back from this!

WHO WON?
WHO'S NEXT?
YOU DECIDE!
EPIC RAP *Harmonica solo* BATTLES OF HISTORY!

Dreamwalker
Silent Planet
I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
