Okay

I'm feeling the way that I'm feeling myself
Fuck everyone else
Gotta remember that nobody is better than anyone else, here
(Do you need some time to think it over?)
Look what they do to you
Look what they do to me
Must be joking if you think that either one is free, here

Get up off your knees, girl
Stand face to face with your God
And find out what you want
(Hello, my name is human)
Hello, my name is human
And I came down from the stars
(Hello, my name is human)

I'm ready for love and I'm ready for war
But I'm ready for more
I know that nobody's ever been this fucking ready before, hey
(Do you need some time to think it over?)
So figure it out or don't figure it out
I figured it out
The bigger the river (the bigger the river)
The bigger the drought (the bigger the drought)

Get up off your knees, boy
Stand face to face with your God
And find out what you want
(Hello, my name is human)
Hello, my name is human
And I came down from the stars
(Hello, my name is human)

Fire world, I love you
Fire world

I'm up off my knees, girl
I'm face to face with myself
And I know who I am
(Hello, my name is human)
I stole my power from the sun
I'm more than just a man
(No longer disillusioned)

(I'm not asking questions)
('Cause questions have answers)
(And I don't want answers)
I came down from the stars (so I'll take my chances)
(And what are the chances)
(That I could advance)
(On my own circumstances)
(Said "what are the chances?")
Hello, my name is human (and what are the chances?)
(I don't want your answers)
(I'm not asking questions)
(So you keep your answers)
And I know who I am (so you keep your answers)
(I'm not asking questions)
(I'm taking my chances)

General CommentI think this song is saying to be who you want to be and believe what you want to believe. No matter what god you believe in your taking your chances on being correct. He knows who he is so he doesn't have any questions and therefor doesn't need their answers.

My InterpretationHello guys. I had to put the pen on the paper cuz this song has affected on me a lot. I mean a lot. And by the way I'm not a native English speaker so don't judge me please. (Y)

As I said, this song is a special to me right now. I see it has a certain message: digitalization. The over power of electric weapons and social media has changed us hugely. That's a fact.

I see that this song is based on quite near future, when everyone loses their personalities and we give in because the social media power is so overwhelming. I can't explain it phrase by phrase but I can read it between the lines. Movies like I, Robot or I am Legend, can tell the story.

Maybe the whole album is about humane approaches vs. future human beings. I'm not sure. Go figure it out yourself.

Song MeaningThe peacock is the biggest clue, because this song works perfectly as a dialogue for the Yazidi myth about the Peacock angel (Satan). It's very similar to the Judeo-Christian-Islam myth about the Garden of Eden with a few changes. When God makes man, he asks all of the angels to bow down to the creature he made in his image. Satan being a being of fire and light refused saying he would never bow down to a creature of clay. Satan was cast down from heaven, later passing on the fire of heaven to man (I stole the power form the sun.) It's this flame that let man be like God and gain knoweldge about all around him. It's his consciousness that caused God to kick man out of the Garden of Eden. So it's a mix of a curse and a blessing. Yazidis later have Satan reconcile with God and becomes a hero for mankind. But you can take this story as a conversation between Satan and man at that moment he passed the flame having been cast down from the heavens.

General Commentthis song is all about spirituality and his predestined divine path he signed up to take before birth in order to help spread love and light throughout all of humanity to assist in the awakening process of mankind. after reading the end, I now have the feeling he's looking for an out and desires to travel the path of enlightenment on his own terms. I wish I could be on the level of not needing answers!

General Commentthe wiki for this says:

The song was released on September 7, 2016.
Said Johnny Stevens of the song, “A lot of people think the song is about being a human. I believe some of us aren’t human at all. Or at least not completely, but that is still our name. At some point in the last couple hundred years something changed. The androids, the aliens...They aren’t coming. We are here."

Very cool drums alot of passion...
Who really knows it's true true.......
It's like the lyrics.... the syncopated roll..
Combined blended injected into the melody

General CommentTaking the chances is crucial.
Also every chance one takes has a life-changing effect on the surrounding humans and that might cause injuries. Are we still human when we only take the chances?
However, it is just music with rocks in. Gave my mind for it.
