All I need is a TV show, that and my radio
Down on my luck again down on my luck again

I can show you
I can show you some of the people in my life
I can show you
I can show you some of the people in my life

It's driving me mad, oh!
It's just another way of passing the day
Ow ooh, yeah

I, I get so lonely when she's not there
I, I, I, I

Your just another face eyes upon my TV show
But I've known you for so very long
Feel like a friend

Could you do when you think of me?
Can I touch you for a while?
Can I meet you on another day
When we can fly away?

I can show you
I can show you some of the people in my life
I can show you
I can show you some of the people in my lifе
(My life, my life? You wouldn't beliеve it)
It's driving me mad
Oh, it's just another way of passing the day
Ow, oh yeah

I, I get so lonely when she's not there
I, I, I, I

(Turn It on)

Turn it on turn it on, turn it on again
Turn it on turn it on, turn it on again

Turn it on turn it on, turn it on again
Turn it on turn it on, turn it on again yeah

Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls
We are so proud to be
Here tonight, and so proud to
Back in our hometown Knebworth
HertfordshireI must leave a little thank
You to everyone for supporting
The whole benefit charity type
Of thing we are all here gathered for your
Exclusive entertainment value
And we hope you have a good time now
Before we go I said, I said, i
Said, before we go I'd like to leave you
With something I truly believe in that is
I believe that each and every man, woman boy
And girl and those that don't know, out
There tonight all need somebody
To love now would
I be correct in that assumption? I SAID
Would I be correct in that assumption? Even I
Need someone to love let's face it
We ALL need somebody to love let's put
Our cards right on the table
…Well I'll leave you with the immortal
Words of Jake and Elwood blues
And Mr Solomon Burke who personally
Said to me one day, and he said:

Everybody needs somebody
Everybody needs somebody to love

Someone to kiss someone to miss
Someone to squeeze someone to please
Someone to love and we need you, you, you
Yes we need you, you, you
Yeah, we need you, you, you (Even you)
I tell ya

I can't get, no, satisfaction
I can't get, no, girlie action
Cause I've tried, and I've tried
And I've tried tried, tried can you mean now

Well shake it up baby (Shake it up baby)
Twist and shout (Twist and shout)
C'mon, c'mon, c'mon, c'mon, baby, now
(Come on, baby)
Come on and work it on out (Work it on out)

Oh, you know, twist so good (Twist so good)
You know, you twist so fine (Twist so fine)
Come on and twist a little closer, now
(Twist a little closer)
Let me know that you're mine
(Know you're mine)

OK, OK, OK, OK you guys oh, oh, oh, ooh

Well if you feel that you can't go on
Because all your hope you got is gone
And your life is filled with much confusion
Because happiness is just an illusion
(I know what you're thinking)
You're out there on your own, but darling
(Reach out) Come on, girl
(Reach out) Reach out to me (Hit it)
I'll be there to love and comfort you
Listen, I'll be there
But I will see you through

Oh, oh, oh, oh

You never close your eyes anymore
When I kiss your lips
There's no tenderness like before
In your fingertips
You're trying hard not to show it (Baby)
But baby, baby, I know it

You've lost that loving feeling
Ooh, that loving feeling
Bring back that loving feeling
Because it's gone, gone, gone, oh

Yeah!

Ever since I was a young boy
I played the silver ball
From Knebworth down to Brighton
I must've played them all
But I ain't seen nothing like
Him in any amusement hall
That deaf dumb and blind kid sure
Plays a mean pinball yeah

Well, I'm going to wait
Till the midnight hour
That's when my love comes tumbling down
Yes, I'm going to wait till the midnight hour
That's when there's nobody else around

I'm gonna take you, and I'm gonna hold you
And I'm gonna to do all those
Dirty things I told you
Ooh, baby in the midnight hour oh yeah
In that midnight hour

Sing it!

Turn it on turn it on, turn it on again
Turn it on turn it on, turn it on again

Turn it on turn it on, turn it on again
Turn it on turn it on, turn it on again

Turn it on turn it on, turn it on again
Turn it on turn it, turn it, turn it

Turn it on again

Turn it on turn it on, turn it on again
Turn it on turn it on, turn it on again

Turn it on turn it on, turn it on again

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
