She spends her time getting
Wasted away, wasted away
Take a couple more shots to the face
A couple more drinks she won't mind how that taste
She smiles but inside she want to cry
I can see it in here face
She's wasted away, come on now don't get wasted away
Come girl don't get wasted away
Come now you can do it you can make it out
Girl if you don't waste it away

Spoiled rotten and she was only eighteen
When she graduated high school, Pursuing her dreams
She wanted money, cars, clothes, You know the finer of things
She had a boyfriend just to show, She was no one night fling
And she was happy and content, On the outside it seemed
But inside she felt hurt, Pain was angry and mean
No self-esteem even though, She was the homecoming queen
Without about a pound of make up, She refused to be seen
You see she loved her mom and dad
But now they didn't love each other
She knows her mom is cheatin', But she keeps it undercover
Cause they argue so much, She wonders if they even love her
And on top of that, She's stressed about college
After the summer, Now the stress is building up
And she can't handle the weight
She started hanging out with low life's
Cause they could relate, She started getting drunk and high
Because that made her feel great
No one would've guessed the turn, That her summer would take
She's...

Wasted away, wasted away
Take a couple more shots to the face
A couple more drinks she won't mind how that taste
She smiles but inside she want to cry
I can see it in here face
She's wasted away, come on now don't get wasted away
Come girl don't get wasted away
Come now you can do it you can make it out
Girl if you don't waste it away

She's getting caught up in her devilish ways
Her boyfriends trying to call her, Hasn't seen her in days
And he's just hoping that she loves him and
Her feelings don't change, He was always there to take care of her
When she was in pain, When she would cry about her parents
He would wipe away tears, When she was stressed about college
He would take away fears, He's love for her was still growing
After four long years and though he never had much
He'd give her everything here, Then one night she took it on herself
To alter their fate, Her new friends yelling at her
Take this shot to the face, She found herself at a party drunk
Nothing to chase, Went with a dude up to his room
He got his hands on her waist, Things started to escalate
Panties moved to the side, "She said go head and hit raw"
So he slipped it inside, She gave it up for this guy
Then when morning arrived, Texted her boyfriend
It was over cold and empty inside
She's...

Wasted away, wasted away
Take a couple more shots to the face
A couple more drinks she won't mind how that taste
She smiles but inside she want to cry
I can see it in here face
She's wasted away, come on now don't get wasted away
Come girl don't get wasted away
Come now you can do it you can make it out
Girl if you don't waste it away

She never told him she cheated or even gave him a reason
And now his heart is broken, emptied, depleted
She's at the club acting out, All because of the split
And I was there too, The night she drunk, jumped in her whip
Trying not to get sick, Cruising down route 86
The headlights were too bright
She turned the steering wheel quick
And in that moment her whole world slowed down to a tic
That's when she drove into, The driver of an all blue Buick
And what she saw next, Left her empty and cold
Her boyfriend of four years, Left dead on the road
She starring at the sky screaming, "God how did this happen!"
No one responded but the devil at her shoulder was laughing
Police later found some flowers and a note on the seat
The note was about how he loved her and he wished they could be and when she heard it was for her
She broke down in defeat, Forever tortured by the same words
Stuck on repeat
She's...

Wasted away, wasted away
Take a couple more shots to the face
A couple more drinks she won't mind how that taste
She smiles but inside she want to cry
I can see it in here face
She's wasted away, come on now don't get wasted away
Come girl don't get wasted away
Come now you can do it you can make it out
Girl if you don't waste it away

This is about bronies. They communicate by stomping.

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

This is a sequel to 2001's "Reckless Abandon", and features the band looking back on their clumsy youth fondly.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.
