T Case in The Building
DOC WE GOT AN S-O-S WE GOT AN S-O-S
Cut off the lights
Let's party like we're all gonna die
So put your cups up for one hell of a night
Cuzz you know everything's gonna be allright
So cut off the lights and let's party like we're all gonna die
So put ya cups up for one hell of a night
Cuzz you know everything's gonna be allright
Everything's gonna be allright
We're gonna party like its revelations
Enter the space station
To avoid natural devastations
Erasing all complications
Start celebrating, I got her levitating
I pop that booty at a high elevation stop it there
And just keep shaking, shaking, shaking
Enjoy the sensation
Everybody in the club feel the vibration
Sudden observation from across the way
Digital girl giving me subliminal signals
Is she taken or is she single?
Don't matter she's a sex symbol
And what I'm on got me feeling invincible
So here I now go rock and roll the show
Excuse me as I steal your oh
You know lets go we party all night like a rave
Put on the techno
How would you spend your time if you had one last night?
Let's party like we're all gonna die so cut off the lights
And strap yaself in for one hell of a ride
Put your cups up for One hell of a Night
Cuzz you know everything's gonna be allright
Everything's gonna be allright
So put your cups Up for one hell of a night
For one hell of a night, for one hell of a night!
Baby I'm a bachelor just check the swagger
Matter of fact I'm so FL just ask Y
I'm a real guy I'm an AmerICan do whatever I damn well please
So excuse me as I take ya lady with me
End your story, she becomes my shorty
I'm a real Wiz she can be Dorothy
You wanna get away, let's head SouthWest
Hey doc I think we got an SOS
So it's time to save this damsel in distress
Time to put an S on my chest
You can find me in the club with 50 Cent
DJ put the record on blast
Got everybody saying howd he do it so fast?
Remember his past he used to be an OutKast
Now look where he's at stacking cash
O damn lifes the limit don't crash
HOW WOULD YOU SPEND YOUR TIME IF YOU HAD ONE LAST NIGHT?
Let's party like we're all gonna die!
So cut off the lights and strap yourself in for one hell of a ride
Put your cups up for one hell of a night
Cuzz you know everything's gonna be alright, everything's gonna be allright
So put your cups up for one hell of a night
For one hell of a night, for one hell of a night
Enter the Matrix you can be Trinity
I'll be Neo!
Cuzz we were meant to be part of the code
As in Leo Nardo start dreaming now like DaCaprio
As I process your inceptions
I get the impression that I'm the one you wanna be sexing
Usually you like your freaky side to stay in deception
But I'm your one and only exception, your a Godess
And your complexion is blessed to perfection
You tempt my senses, I sense you stressing, stop trembling!
As I become your blessing
Feel my hands on your hips dance to the beat and rock like this
Look in my eyes are you ready to kiss?
As I whisper something in ya ear like this...
How would you spend your time
If you had one last night?
Let's party like we're all gonna die
So cut off the lights and strap yaself in
For one hell of a ride, put ya cups up
For one hell of a night
Cuzz you know everything's gonna be allright
Everything's gonna be allright
So put your cups up for one hell of a night
For one hell of a night, for one hell of a night

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Just A Little Lovin'
Dusty Springfield
I don't think it's necessarily about sex. It's about wanting to start the day with some love and affection. Maybe a warm cuddle. I'm not alone in interpreting it that way! For example: "'Just a Little Lovin’ is a timeless country song originally recorded by Eddy Arnold in 1954. The song, written by Eddie Miller and Jimmy Campbell, explores the delicate nuances of love and showcases Arnold’s emotive vocals. It delves into the universal theme of love and how even the smallest gesture of affection can have a profound impact on our lives." https://oldtimemusic.com/the-meaning-behind-the-song-just-a-little-lovin-by-eddy-arnold/

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.

Plastic Bag
Ed Sheeran
“Plastic Bag” is a song about searching for an escape from personal problems and hoping to find it in the lively atmosphere of a Saturday night party. Ed Sheeran tells the story of his friend and the myriad of troubles he is going through. Unable to find any solutions, this friend seeks a last resort in a party and the vanity that comes with it. “I overthink and have trouble sleepin’ / All purpose gone and don’t have a reason / And there’s no doctor to stop this bleedin’ / So I left home and jumped in the deep end,” Ed Sheeran sings in verse one. He continues by adding that this person is feeling the weight of having disappointed his father and doesn’t have any friends to rely on in this difficult moment. In the second verse, Ed sings about the role of grief in his friend’s plight and his dwindling faith in prayer. “Saturday night is givin’ me a reason to rely on the strobe lights / The lifeline of a promise in a shot glass, and I’ll take that / If you’re givin’ out love from a plastic bag,” Ed sings on the chorus, as his friend turns to new vices in hopes of feeling better.
