When I come home
You're just lying there
Face against the wall
Never had a care

I am just a traveler
There's no light in this room
And the body's aching at night

Would I be acting up
If I said it's not enough?

Who knows who else who is with
No one is with the traveller
There's a light in my eyes
And a future invisible now

Heard it's your birthday
Candles in a row
Better blow them quick
Before they're melting on the floor

You were never a traveler
There's no light in your room
And the bodies don't ache in the night

Would I be acting up
If I said not that much?

Who else would do anything for the traveler?
There's a light in her eyes
And a future visible touch

I was looking out of the window at the sky
Starless vigil of the life that has gone by
Saturn turning and I feel there's not much more
For a vision of the night turn off your light

    My Interpretation

The first stanza to me seemed literal about coming home and not feeling loved "going through the motions of a relationship"

I am just a traveller/body aching- This is the realization of being someone who appreciates life in its purest form. Someone here for love as opposed to the chase of societal acceptance/money. Life is not forever we are merely just here for a short while. Much like silver souls and being driven by spirit.

Would I be acting up if I said its not enough? There is nothing blatantly wrong with this relationship it is just not what she wants. She wants another 'traveller'

Who knows who else is with- Missed opportunities with others who may be the travelers she likes to believe they are still single and unsatisfied. This is where you may delve into the thought of soulmates. Finding someone else with the light in their eyes who can appreciate this life. The invisible future is these other opportunities never happening.

Heard its your birthday now- This is almost mocking the non-traveller as they are getting old and celebrating it even tho their life is still so shallow. Theres some kind of literary element with 'blow' and them melting away as that represents the non travellers (money people not looking for love but yet for social acceptance)

Her partner is not a traveller. She cannot get them riled up and they are quite content not having the itch/ache to get out there and do the glorious things that come with our short lives.

Would I be acting up if I said not that much? This is giving in and becoming complacent with her partner even tho she knows they are not the 'one'

She feels she cant do any better and that this person is the best shot they have. Wrapping up the song with accepting her life being relatively little in the grand scheme as we can often times find solace in the fact that we are so small compared to the rest of our worlds. To feel small and to be able to fully embrace the night you must turn your light (thrive, want for the deeper more for fulfilling goals in life) off in order to enjoy being small. Nobody should ever enjoy being small and giving into a 9-5 lifestlye of money, cars, jobs. Our time here is far too short to spend it worrying about other peoples thoughts of us. So to me this is a rather dim ending. Beautiful song!

Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Blue
Ed Sheeran
“Blue” is a song about a love that is persisting in the discomfort of the person experiencing the emotion. Ed Sheeran reflects on love lost, and although he wishes his former partner find happiness, he cannot but admit his feelings are still very much there. He expresses the realization that he might never find another on this stringed instrumental by Aaron Dessner.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
