"In Plain Sight" as written by Kimberley Kenneth Benzie, Stewart Alexander Hill, Luke Williams, Luke James Palmer and Clinton James Vincent....
And I hope that one day I will see you again
Maybe it’s time we say that it’s over
Control, contracts
Faded smiles on faces we lived
Maybe it’s time we say that it’s over

Stop, help me
I’m hoping I can change your mind
I’m empty
I’m hoping you can see the signs
Only I can see to fight again
The moment of defeat to find a way
No one will replace you
Only I can save you

Unconscious addiction
I follow you but you motion to stay
Defiance, denial
I promise you there is more
I can change

You say let it go, move on
I keep hanging on...

Stop, help me
I’m hoping I can change your mind
I’m empty
I’m hoping you can see the signs
Only I can see to fight again
The moment of defeat to find a way
No one will replace you
Only I can save you

In plain sight of
Dream shattered

And I hope that one day I will see you again
Maybe it’s time we say that it’s over
Control, contracts
Faded smiles on faces we lived
Maybe it’s time you leave now
It’s over

Stop, help me
I’m hoping I can change your mind
I’m empty
I’m hoping you can see the signs
Only I can see to fight again
The moment of defeat to find a way
No one will replace you
Only I can save you

My InterpretationBasically he is or was in a relationship and she wants to break up with him and at first he thinks it should be over but he sort of changes his mind and and wants her to stay then by the end of the song he wants to break up again.
