Love enough and you'll love to death
It is a hazy pain, yeah
Love enough and you'll run out of breath
You'll need a respirator
Love enough and you'll be nothing that's left
You'll need a recreator
Love enough, you'll just make a mess
You'll need a redecorator

Oh, oh

Love enough and you'll forget how to dress
You'll need a caretaker
Love enough and you'll forget the rest
You'll need a headshaker
Love enough, you'll just get depressed
You'll need a uplifter
Love enough and you'll love to death
It is a real life taker

Na na na na

Look at love you will burn your eyes
Kind of shocked and you'll feel deprived
Cut alone and you've got no eyes
Your best bet is to stay inside
Don't look around

Love enough and you'll love to death, oh
Love enough and you will love to death, oh
Love enough and you'll love to death, oh
Love enough and you will love to death, oh

Love enough and you start to bleed
Love stings and it don't come clean
Love enough and you will start a scene
Love enough and you'll come apart at the seams

Na na na na

You look at love, it will burn your eyes
Kind of shocked and you'll feel deprived
Cut alone and you've got no eyes
Your best bet is to stay inside
Don't look around, look around

Love enough and you'll love to death, oh
Love enough and you will love to death, oh
Love enough and you'll love to death, oh
Love enough and you will love to death, oh

Ah, oh

Na na na na

Love enough and you'll love to death
Love enough and you'll love to death
Love enough and you'll love to death
Love enough and you'll love to death

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Gentle Hour
Yo La Tengo
This song was originally written by a guy called Peter Gutteridge. He was one of the founders of the "Dunedin Sound" a musical scene in the south of New Zealand in the early 80s. From there it was covered by "The Clean" one of the early bands of that scene (he had originally been a member of in it's early days, writing a couple of their best early songs). The Dunedin sound, and the Clean became popular on american college radio in the mid to late 80s. I guess Yo La Tengo heard that version. Great version of a great song,

Punchline
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran sings about missing his former partner and learning important life lessons in the process on “Punchline.” This track tells a story of battling to get rid of emotions for a former lover, whom he now realized might not have loved him the same way. He’s now caught between accepting that fact and learning life lessons from it and going back to beg her for another chance.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
