Sidewalk, here we are
Oh my head is spinning
Looking at you across the room
You dressed in thrift store linen
Me being me, I almost let you go
But you being you, it made me say hello

And I heard a melody
And it took a hold of me

And now I, I want you on vinyl
I, I’ll Play you all night long
I, hope it lasts forever
I, cause you’re my favorite song

Side 2, feels like new
and it keeps getting better
there’s no more singing the blues
I feel a change in weather
Me being me, I almost let you go
But you being you, I think I’ve struck gold

And I heard a melody
And it took a hold of me

And now I, I want you on vinyl
I, I’ll Play you all night long
I, hope it lasts forever
I, cause you’re my favorite song

You’re my favorite song
I’ll play you all night long
Over and over again
Over and over, again

I, I want you on vinyl
I, I’ll Play you all night long
I, hope it lasts forever
cause you’re my favorite song

My InterpretationNow that I've heard it many times, I think "Sidewalk" is actually "Side One" which makes more sense in context.
