You wanna know what Zeus said to Narcissus
You'd betta watch yourself
You wanna know what Zeus said to Narcissus
You'd better watch yourself
You'd better watch yourself

It's like a stranger had a key, came inside of my mind
And moved all my things around
He didn't know snakes can hear the prey
Can't try to break the psyche down

Yeah

It's in my half frozen wax
And your artillery lead
Do you like our bed
Do you like our bed

Deep 6, 6, 6 feet deep
Deep 6, 6, 6 feet deep

It's like a stranger had a key, came inside of my mind
And moved all my things around
He didn't know snakes can hear the prey
Can't try to break my psyche down

It's in my half frozen wax
And your artillery lead
Do ya like our bed
Do ya like our bed

It's in my half-frozen wax
And your artillery lead
Do you like our bed
Do you like our bed

Deep 6, 6, 6 feet deep
Deep 6, 6, 6 feet deep

Yeah

You wanna know what Zeus said to Narcissus
You'd better watch yourself
Wanna know what Zeus said to Narcissus
You'd better watch yourself
You'd better watch yourself better watch yourself

    Song Fact

"you wanna know what Zeus said to Narcissus," you'd better watch yourself" refers to Greek mythology. When Narcissus looked at his reflection in the water, he fell in love with himself, so he went into the water and drowned. This is where the term, narcissist/narcissism comes from.

Lyrics should probably say "love is evol." Compare to the Marshall McLuhen quote below:

"Let's remind them that LOVE, replayed in reverse, is EVOL---transposing into EVIL and VILE. LIVE spells backward into EVIL, while EROS reverses into SORE. And, we should never forget the SIN in SINCERE or the CON in CONFIDENCE."

    My Interpretation

That's how I understand the lyrics

It is a perfect description of a narcissistic attack on a trained empath. (The comparison with the serpent for the empath results from the perception of the uneducated outside world via the empath, which he uses ironically). The narcissist tries to twist your thinking, your emotional life. Everything is twisted. The whole life of a narcissist turns things around. Love is evil (to be). Crime is trust in others (I trust your naivety) and the distorted idea that cheating is a gift (I cheat on you, so I trust you). Just as the thinking that cheated on people did not want it otherwise. Ergo, it is legitimate. It's just about control. Eros is a compensator for anger. And when I commit a sin, it's pure sincerity ... "I'm so authentic."

"As if my Feathers were wax". This is also a perfect description of the feeling you have when you have a relationship with a narcissist. Every lightness disappears from your life. Self doubt lies like stones on your neck. As if you were pressed by an invisible force to the ground / sucked. It slowly drains you of all creativity and self-confidence. The only people who can and should oppose a narcissist (but only if they have to because it is still dangerous) are empaths that are solid and stable in themselves. They are virtually unable to crawl and deny the signs of sick narcissism. And they can fight back hard. They are the nightmare of a narcissist, because they have the ability and sometimes the weapons to unmask a narcissist.

"Dou you like our bed. Six deep feed" is a metaphor for what a narcissistic attack always means. After the only form of love the narcissist knows, the perfect control to satisfy all his needs, the perfect destruction takes place. The narcissist is only satisfied if all aspects of your personality are so weakened that they enter self-destruct mode. Not least, they try to achieve this through sexual atrraction.

"You should take better care of yourself". That's a funny quote. Because it is a paradoxical warning. The narcissist can do nothing but look at himself. I doubt a narcissist can understand this warning. He takes them, as in the story with Zeus, completely literally. Zeus knows that. A good example of someone who has wondered how legitimate it is to beat the narcissist with unfair means, especially if you are an empath (They have high moral standarts).

In Greek mythology, the beautiful half-god Narcissus falls in love with his own reflection. Zeus is the highest god in Greek mythology. "You better watch yourself" refers to the idea of being your own god, just like the line "I went to god just to see, and I was looking at me" in "The Reflecting God".

    My Interpretation

For me it's explaining about being retrospective about all deep sides of conscious of our minds, in some level everyone have a bit of narcissism. And sometimes something happens that change how is he in character, and probably the narcissism goes up up and becomes more arrogant and sick.

You guys all know that he had a bet he could write a song without using “the” in the words - that’s really all the meaning there is to this song, sorry to tell y’all. Also whoever wrote the lyrics here I have no idea why you would think he says something about half frozen wax. As others have pointed out, the words are “It’s as if my feathers were wax - and your artillery lead”. GREAT SONG ONE OF MY FAVES BY MANSON!!!

It's like Jewellfire said. I just wanted to add that it's most his interpretation why his love life is shit and why he can't love god or anything else but himself. His love for himself is killing him. Poetic as ever.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Same ideas expressed in Fitter, Happier are expressed in this song. We're told to strive for some sort of ideal life, which includes getting a good job, being kind to everyone, finding a partner, getting married, having a couple kids, living in a quiet neighborhood in a nice big house, etc. But in Fitter, Happier the narrator(?) realizes that it's incredibly robotic to live this life. People are being used by those in power "like a pig in a cage on antibiotics"--being pacified with things like new phones and cool gadgets and houses while being sucked dry. On No Surprises, the narrator is realizing how this life is killing him slowly. In the video, his helmet is slowly filling up with water, drowning him. But he's so complacent with it. This is a good summary of the song. This boring, "perfect" life foisted upon us by some higher powers (not spiritual, but political, economic, etc. politicians and businessmen, perhaps) is not the way to live. But there is seemingly no way out but death. He'd rather die peacefully right now than live in this cage. While our lives are often shielded, we're in our own protective bubbles, or protective helmets like the one Thom wears, if we look a little harder we can see all the corruption, lies, manipulation, etc. that is going on in the world, often run by huge yet nearly invisible organizations, corporations, and 'leaders'. It's a very hopeless song because it reflects real life.
