"Rise (feat. Skylar Grey)" as written by Giorgio Tuinfort, David Guetta, Claude Kelly and Holly Hafermann....
Getting, getting, getting
Getting, getting, getting

You can take a swing at my ego
You can make a run for my crown
Even with an army of people
You ain't gonna take us down
You can aim your evil right at us
You can drop your bombs on the ground
Even if your stare makes me nervous
You ain't gonna take us down

There'll be no need for crying
If darkness fills the skies
We'll go on forever
Like the phoenix, we
Will rise up from the ashes
This world is ours tonight
We'll go on forever
Like the phoenix, we
Will rise
We will rise

Getting, getting, getting
Getting, getting, getting

You can take a swing at my ego
You can make a run for my crown
Even with an army of people
You ain't gonna take us down
You can aim your evil right at us
You can drop your bombs on the ground
Even if your stare makes me nervous
You ain't gonna take us down

There'll be no need for crying
If darkness fills the skies
We'll go on forever
Like the phoenix, we
Will rise up from the ashes
This world is ours tonight
We'll go on forever
Like the phoenix, we
Will rise
We will rise

Getting, getting, getting
Getting, getting, getting

Getting, getting, getting
Getting, getting, getting
Getting, getting, getting

General CommentWell, it looks like I'm the first person to comment. I heard this song in a trailer for wrestlemania 31.

General CommentI also heard this from the Wrestlemania 31 trailer.
Looking at the lyrics, it sounds like the biblical rapture. Talking about rising up, like into heaven, or
"You can make a run for my crown
Even with an army of people
You ain't gonna take us down" is like satan failing to take down Jesus in the end of days.
"There'll be no need for crying
If darkness fills the skies" is like no need to cry because once he returns it will be a dark time but if you have given him your life, you are going to a better place.
There are many other lyrics in the song that make me feel like its about the rapture, and if it's not, then it just is a coincidence. Oh well haha.
