Symmetrical address
Strolling the line
I'm lost, I'm insightless
Navigating time

We fall, will we break up
Out in the night
You call and we make up
We try to make things right

Oh, your sun's arising more because
All this time we've wasted, we wasted more

The oceans are rising
Temperature's lost
This love is capsizing
Underneath your frost

Your tactical hardness
Tears us apart
I'm honest, too honest
To imitate your past

Oh, your sun's arising more because
All this time we've wasted, we wasted more

We fall, will we break up
Out in the night
You call and we make up
We try to make things right

My InterpretationI just transcribed these myself because they don't exist anywhere! Couple of lines I'm not too sure of, particularly the first line, so if anyone has any edits to make, please let me know / or make them yourself!

This song is brilliant. The music, the vibe, it's all great. Is it about a girl named Selena that one of them once knew? Maybe... I love the imagery they create in the words, all the stuff about oceans rising and love capsizing. RÜFÜS have a knack for metaphor.

The whole song is about a rocky relationship, I think that is obvious. They fight, almost break up, get back together. Sounds like they're making excuses to stay together. The chorus confuses me, unless of course I have the words wrong which might explain it haha...

My InterpretationForgot to add, this Selena sounds like a cold bitch, to put it bluntly - "your tactical hardness tears us apart", and "this love is capsizing underneath your frost".
