"Dog" as written by Nathan Daniel Williams and Stephen Pope....
In the morning
Wake up choking but it's sunny
Uhh, they're the same, too
When you blame everybody

Uuuh
Still I'll be your dog
Still I'll be your dog
Still I'll be your dog
Still I'll be your
Uuuh
Still I'll be your dog
Still I'll be your dog
Still I'll be your dog
Still I'll be your

In the evening
Less than even
But I'm coming
Uhh, they're the same, too
Like I'm doing this for nothing

Uuuh
Still I'll be your dog
Still I'll be your dog
Still I'll be your dog
Still I'll be your
Uuuh
Still I'll be your dog
Still I'll be your dog
Still I'll be your dog
Still I'll be your

General CommentI think the song is about not quite having/being enough to fit your own or somebody else's standards. But no matter how trying you are always there and alive. Though everything is not as great as it can be, it's alright because there's little things to get you through the day.
