Breathe in, breathe out,
Breathe in, breathe out,
Breathe in, breathe out,
Breathe in, breathe out,
Breathe

I’ll never be, never be what you think I should be,
No, not today.
I’ll never say, never say all the things I should say,
I’m only human.
[X2]

More often than not, you’re gonna feel alone,
It’s a long fall from the top, can you stand it?
Gave it all that I got, everywhere I roam,
I can’t do this alone, can you help me?
[X2]

This is how it ends,
We fall, we mend.
Burn and start again,
Rebuild, forget.
Lest we forget.

Breathe in, breathe out,
(This is how it ends,
We fall, we mend)
Breathe in, breathe out,
(Burn and start again,
Rebuild, forget).

Breathe in, breathe out,
(This is how it ends,
We fall, we mend)
Breathe in, breathe out,
(Burn and start again,
Rebuild, I’m only human).

My InterpretationAside from being my favourite song (Dem classic instruments mixed in)

To me it's about losing a relationship, not necessarily a partner, can be any relationship, the 'Breathe in, breathe out' speaks to me, calming yourself down, easing your anxiety etc.

More often than not, you’re gonna feel alone,
It’s a long fall from the top, can you stand it?
--- Basically it's how you feel losing someone, losing a friend, you're going to feel shitty a lot of the time, a long fall can be the sinking feeling in your stomach that eats you up.

Gave it all that I got, everywhere I roam,
I can’t do this alone, can you help me?
--- You've given it your best to stay strong, everywhere you go, everything you do you just doesn't ease you, you feel so shitty you just need someone there to help you through it

    Burn and start again,
    Rebuild, forget.
    Lest we forget.
--- Just getting over it pretty much, get yourself up and leave the past behind.

This is just my interpretation and how I see it
