Regardless of the love and pain
I promise you were
Not in vain
I was drain
Tide to the train
Then we were dancing
In the rain
(How could I walk away)
When you really stay
Strangers from the start till we were too far then we fell apart wait who are you again?
I swore we were
Friends till the end
I wish I never
Vent to you
I will never forget
My memories with you
Now they'll be free
In the sea
Hope you'll see
Strangers from the start till we were too far then we fell apart wait who are you again?
I swore we were
Friends till the end
I wish I never
Did all of this
You made me feel shit
I was into the abyss
You put me down
So hard that I drowned
Even when we were friends
Guess that's his the end
Strangers from the start till we were too far then we fell apart wait who are you again?
I swore we were
Friends till the end
I wish I never
Stayed
I really feel like
All these songs and stuff is like
The end of a chapter
And Yeah they are about people but like
You know like right now
Once I put it out it's gonna be in the past
But right now I feel so good I hope they love these songs but I can't wait for the future

    Memory

Okay, so I know no one has posted on this song, but I just have to say that this is one of my absolute FAVORITE stars songs. It's just so relatable and it makes me think of this specific point in my life.

So I used to have a crush on this guy, let's call him Bob (generic name lol XD) and he was probably the first boy I ever really liked, and the thing is, he liked me back. We would sit next to each other in class and talk about what we did in our spare time and stuff. So when the school year ended I looked forward to going back to school the entire summer so I could see him again.

When the school year started up again, he started to ignore me. It wasn't anything too serious, but it just wasn't what it used to be like hanging out with him. He became really popular and started spending less time with me and more time with all the other girls in our school that were all wayyy more popular. Can't say I blame him, school is like that, but I'm not saying that what he did was necessarily right.

Anyway, I've moved on and gotten over him, but I've noticed a pattern. Bob seems to make a girl - he's done this several times - think that he likes her, therefore making her like him. "And you have a gift for making people love you." And then, when he's had his fun teasing her and such, he ignores her and makes her think that it's all her fault that he doesn't like her anymore.

I've talked to one of my close friends about this and she agrees. But the reason this song reminds me of Bob is because one day he'll have broken enough hearts for everyone to realize what he's done. "Now you're a stranger, now it feels better, it feels better and better, until you feel nothing at all." Then he'll know what it's like to be "The Stranger" and he'll feel the loneliness that he's caused all these people to feel.

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Magical
Ed Sheeran
How would you describe the feeling of being in love? For Ed Sheeran, the word is “Magical.” in HIS three-minute album opener, he makes an attempt to capture the beauty and delicacy of true love with words. He describes the magic of it all over a bright Pop song produced by Aaron Dessner.
