"Very Good Bad Thing" as written by and Ryan Lee Guldemond....
It is a shame to see this go
But with a dig in the grave
Diggin' the black hole.
It was insane, the way we'd roll
You know the world at large
Is like a little rag doll
We were the big, bad pitbull

Try to get out but we just keep stickin' around
'Cause it is a very good bad thing we've found.

I am in pain to see this go
But we were putting a hole in our hearts,
With a poison arrow
It was deranged the way we'd roll
You know that everything around was like a little bitty town
We were the old tornado

Try to get out but we just keep stickin' around,
'Cause it is a very good bad thing we've found.
Try to get out but we just stay stuck on the ground, layin' down,
'Cause it is a very good bad thing we've found.

Stay another day, stay another night
I've got some cigarettes, I've got some stuff to try
We'll make sick silhouettes (sick, sick silhouettes)
We'll make our mamas cry
We'll play Russian roulette (play Russian roulette)
We'll play 'til we die
Die die d-die d-d-die die
You and I'm
Gonna kill you yeah
You gonna kill me, true
Gonna leave a little note,
Just a little bad poem,
Gonna say true love is just a good bad joke.
Yeah, yeah, yeah

Try to get out but we just keep stickin' around,
'Cause it is a very good bad thing we've found.
Try to get out but we just stay stuck on the ground, foolin' down,
'Cause it is a very good bad thing we've found.
'Cause it is a very good bad thing we've found.
('Cause it is a very good bad thing we've found)
'Cause it is a very good bad thing we've found.

Song MeaningAgain, love this song, but I haven't interpreted it as much as some of the others.
I think the song is about drug addiction. Saying "the way we'd roll" is a nod at tripping on MDMA/molly/whatever you wanna call it. Saying "I've got some cigarettes, Ive got some stuff to try" meaning they wanna smoke and get high again. While drugs are fun, if you get too hooked on something, it can (and will) destroy your life, hence acknowledging that they don't wanna see their drugs disappear after a long night of being high as a kite or stop using, but they're "putting a hole in our hears with a poison arrow." They love their drugs, but it's making their body really unhappy. They also acknowledge that what they're doing can "make our mommas cry," and that using hard drugs (like heroin/meth/coke/etc.) is like playing Russian Roulette, and every time they use - especially if they use too much - they're putting their life at a huge risk. They "try to get up," meaning try and get sober, but they "just keep sticking around" because of the "very good bad thing" they found (the drugs).
Although they acknowledge that the drugs are horrible and have been really damaging, they don't explicitly state "I'm clean, sober, and am never gonna get high again!" leading me to believe that they don't actually care what happens to them, just as long as they keep getting high.

General CommentIt's about a VERY dysfunctional relationship where they are very attracted to each other but are so at odds otherwise that they want to kill each other. We've all seen relationships like that. Maybe some of you have even been in one.
