"Speeding" as written by and Andrew Pearson Lights Valerie Poxleitner....
One by one, out the door,
Wanted you, she wanted you oh
It's OK, it's OK,
I don't mind moving on,
Don't wait up I'm already gone,
Can't stay still, can't stay still

(Ooh) The world in the rear view mirror doesn't matter,
(Ooh) I won't be coming back here after,

Speeding, 'cause it feels good,
To be moving on,
Sleep is for the weary,
I'm not slowing down,
And when the record is done,
I'll put another one on,
Speeding 'cause it feels good, 'cause it feels good

Window down feel the night,
Whatever I touch I can make mine,
It's enough, it's enough,
I say go, on the wall,
You won't see me stopping for anyone,
Can't stay still, can't stay still

(Ooh) The world in the rear view mirror doesn't shake me,
(Ooh) I haven't looked back there lately

Speeding, 'cause it feels good,
To be moving on,
Sleep is for the weary,
I'm not slowing down,
And when the record is done,
I'll put another one on,
Speeding 'cause it feels good

Lines that line the city,
Guiding all the residents,
From where I am sitting,
I can see the evidence

Lines that line the city,
Guiding all the residents,
From where I am sitting,
I can see the evidence,
'Cause I am, 'cause I am,

Speeding, 'cause it feels good,
To be moving on,
Sleep is for the weary,
I'm not slowing down,
And when the record is done,
I'll put another one on,
Speeding 'cause it feels good,

'Cause it feels good, 'cause it feels good, 'cause it feels good,
'Cause it feels good, 'cause it feels good, 'cause it feels good,
'Cause it feels good, 'cause it feels good.

My InterpretationThere are a lot of references to traveling by car, but the entire atmosphere of the song screams something else. Romantic, beautiful, but intense intercourse. I'm not sure about the actual meaning, but this is clearly my interpretation.
