I'm happy for you,
but I feel like crying.
I'm happy for you,
but I feel like crying.
I'm happy for you,
but I feel like crying.

Time has come,
much too soon.
You won't stay awake,
for my tune.

I'm happy for you,
but I feel like dying.
I'm happy for you,
from the stem.
But not from the roo oo oo oo oot.

I'm happy for you,
but I feel like dying.
I'm happy for you,
but I feel like crying.
I'm happy for you,
but I feel like dying.

I'm happy for you,
but I feel like crying.
I'm happy for you,
but I feel like crying.
I'm happy for you,
but I feel like crying.

General CommentOne of her best solo releases yet! I think it's about seeing someone you care about either succeed or have fortune smile on them and being happy for them, but at the same time feeling kind of resentful or left behind because it didn't happen to you.
