"Two Weeks" as written by Emile Haynie and Tahliah Debrett Barnett....
I know it hurts
You know I’d quench that thirst
(I can treat you better than the)
You say you're lonely
I say you'll think about it
Cause you're the only
One who resonates that chaste, mouth open like (High)

Higher than a motherfucker, dreaming of it, it's my lovin' (High)
Flying like a stream of thunder, only way to do each other (High)
Pull out the insides and give me two weeks, you won’t recognize her
Mouth open, you're high

I know it hurts
You know I'd put you first
(I can fuck you better, better)
You say you want me
I say you'll live without it
Unless you're the only
One who instigates, got your mouth, open your heart

Higher than a motherfucker, dreaming of it, it's my lovin' (High)
Flying like a stream of thunder, only way to do each other (High)
Pull out the insides and give me two weeks, you won’t recognize her
Mouth open, you're high

Feel your body closing, I can rip it open
Suck me up, I'm healing for the shit you're dealing
Smoke on your skin to get those pretty eyes rolling
My thighs are apart for when you’re ready to breathe in
Suck me up, I'm healing with all the shit you're dealing
Motherfucker, get your mouth open, you know you’re mine

I’d put you first, just close your eyes and dream about it
Higher than a motherfucker dreaming of it, it’s my lovin’
I’ll quench your thirst, just get so high and stop your doubting
Flying like a stream of thunder, only way to do each other (High)

Higher than a motherfucker, dreaming of it, it's my lovin' (High)
Flying like a stream of thunder, only way to do each other (High)
Pull out the insides and give me two weeks, you won’t recognize her
Mouth open, you're high

General Commenti believe this song is about a guy who has overcome a drug addiction. But then gets his heart broken and starts to think about using the drug again. Then the drug says to remember the feeling of the it the very first time it was used on those chased lips ( virgin lips ) The drug then tells the guy you say your lonely...I say you think about it because you are the one who must instigate (the use of the drug). Then the drug says give me two weeks you won't even remember the girl who broke your heart, you won't even recognize her because you'll be in love with my HIGH.

Song MeaningShe has said that the song is about wooing a man away from a sexless relationship, hence the lines "I can fuck you better than her" and "give me two weeks you won’t recognize her."

My InterpretationThis song has so much meaning for me because it perfectly fits what I'm thinking and feeling right now towards my ex. We broke up about a year ago and we recently got back in contact with each other. We had the most amazing sexual connection and I don't believe either of us can find anything like it anywhere else and we both admitted that to each other recently. I just came out of a relationship and he has a girlfriend but I'm really not phased by her.

"you say you're lonely": to me, this means that although he's in a relationship, there's always an element of loneliness because no one understands him like I do.

"Give me two weeks you won't recognise her": I know that all it will take is a little time together (it won't even take two weeks) and things will be how they used to be. It's happened before, it will happen again.

"I can fuck you better than her": No one can fuck him like I can

"Motherfucker, get your mouth open, you know you’re mine": I pretty much know that he's mine and he knows it too. The same applies vice versa

My InterpretationCorrection: second line verse 2: "flying like a screaming falcon, only way to do each other"
Now that I cleared that up the song is about drug addiction and compares the attraction and compulsion to use drugs to having a dysfunctional sexual relationship with a lover. The singer appears as the goddess of addiction in awesome form -sexual, beckoning -larger than life and all powerful. She is metaphor for drug addiction. She calls out to a potential lover who has come to her because is is experiencing the pain of love lost, she recognizes his pain and offers him relief and something better than human love- something godlike "suck me up I'm healing for the shit you're dealing"
The analogy of drug addiction to female nurturing and love is brilliant, she can offer the same sense of well being and relief, refuge from reality "give me two weeks you won't even recognize her"
Her body becomes a pipe, the vessel: she opens her thighs and beckons him between her legs to Breathe in the smoke. The neurochemistry of love and drugs are almost the same- opiates and dopamine release in the brain whether you take a hit- or have an orgasm. We are forever addicted...and doomed,

General CommentWhere you people get drugs from learn the definition of words and you will clearly see you are wrong but hey maybe that's what you compare drugs to sex because it is also an addiction

General CommentDef a rehab song. Man is addicted to some drug demons, and the woman pleas for him to become "addicted" to her instead.

    Twigs, the anti drug

My InterpretationThe song is sung by the personification of heroin . The heroin user initially falls in love with the high, then slowly loses his / her identity to become the drug .
