Do you think you can treat me this way?
Do you think I will say, “it’s OK”?
Have you enjoyed the ride so far, my friend?
Have you destroyed enough in my life?
Will you keep on crushing ‘til the end?
You would kill it all, but why?

Now you say, “please, let it go,”
Now you talk about forgive and forget,
I guess you see a brand new start from here,
I see no guilt or pain in your eyes
Will you start construction once again
Will you kill it all, but why?

I hear you talk about the share of pain
You also talk about, “let’s break the shame,”
We need a brand new day,
I’ll come out and say, “I'm free!”

But never a change,
I’ve seen it before
A promise from you means nothing at all
There is no life,
No hope in your eyes
And I feel I can’t take this no more

Do you feel something more than yourself,
Now you’ve used more than just me?
There is a “blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, blah,” surrounding you,
The fence is high, no clarity eyes,
Will you keep on lying ‘til the end?
Will you kill it all, but why?

Looking back I see the thread,
The connection in our blood,
Sometimes lost but still not dead,
I'm alive, breathing at the flood.
Not talking ‘bout fatalism,
I’ll choose my own line of action.
Not close to the right-wing moral,
Some sins will always tease attraction...

(See the future, have some spirit,
I had a touch from eternity,
See the halls of kings and creatures,
I will fly endlessly.)

I look back in retrospect,
Swinging high in my big trapeze,
I can see how we do connect,
Love can heal a broken heart.
We’re only humans after all,
Can’t afford a broken wing,
I’ll turn aside from your fall,
I’ll hope you hear the angels sing...

(See the future, have some spirit,
might’ve touched eternity,
Walk the halls of kings and creatures,
We can fly endlessly.
See the rise of mind and matter,
Life and death go ‘wheeze, whizz, bang,’
All the spirits see the future,
Seven days and kingdoms end.)

You is you and I am still,
I'm standing on my own,
I tried so hard to reach the hill,
Faith is the stepping stone.
My life goes on and on,
Make it day by day,
Mostly right, a little wrong,
Hey you, remember my name!

I remember once I used to be a person full of life,
Now not dry but drained, my friend, was that a big surprise?
Time goes fast, I had one shot, I aimed that target well,
It vanished into nothingness, turned heaven into hell.

I hate myself for what I’ve done, so ask me ‘bout the pain,
'Pity me' my middle name, I’ll never break the chain,
Standing there so clean and clear with answers in your hand,
Let it go, just let it be...
Let it stand!

(I hate myself for what I’ve done, so ask me ‘bout the pain,
'Pity me' my middle name, I’ll never break the chain,
Standing there so clean and clear with answers in your hand,
Let it go, just let it be...
Let it stand!)

The years have passed,
Still waiting for the sunshine,
That will shine down on me.
I’ve been in this cold hard wind,
Been doing time in wasteland,
Lord, I beg you, please let me in.

Let me be in your arms,
Please take me home,
Comfort me, help me through the night.
I’ve been so scared, I’ve been alone,
For a long, long, long time,
I need your light, I need a way to go.

I can reach the end, the final round,
I can meet your soul on higher ground,
A new day will dawn, a smile is on your face.
Open the doors and let me in,
I need to walk by your side, and time will spin,
Life will become what life was meant to be.

And so the time is here to say goodbye,
The big green spinning hand, don’t ask me why,
I see this brand new day
The sun is green, not grey,
The smiling days are here,
This book is closed and you are near,
I see your eyes.

Reach out, time is laughing,
Weightless, birds are floating,
Everything goes on and round
In circles and my mind is gone,
Detaining lust and vicious
Thoughts, my head hears voices
Calling, saying...
Reach out, time’s a twister,
So she to ruin,
Looking at the seeds of love,
The wheels of life are spinning, while
The past is now, and now will be
The time ahead and I can see the light.

Fast Car
Tracy Chapman
"Fast car" is kind of a continuation of Bruce Springsteen's "Born to Run." It has all the clawing your way to a better life, but in this case the protagonist never makes it with her love; in fact she is dragged back down by him. There is still an amazing amount of hope and will in the lyrics; and the lyrics themselve rank and easy five. If only music was stronger it would be one of those great radio songs that you hear once a week 20 years after it was released. The imagery is almost tear-jerking ("City lights lay out before us", "Speeds so fast felt like I was drunk"), and the idea of starting from nothing and just driving and working and denigrating yourself for a chance at being just above poverty, then losing in the end is just painful and inspiring at the same time.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.

Page
Ed Sheeran
There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
