Despite what songmeanings says, this song is a Slave Raider original and was not written by Bob Crewe. There is a Bob Crewe song of the same name....
Just dropped in we were passing through,
Thought we might spend the night with you.
Please excuse me I'm a crazy man,
But I got a hot rhythm section and a two man six string guitar band.

Living life in a dream world,
No ties nothing to slow me down,
Grab any lady, I make her my baby,
When it comes time to blow this town I say,

Bye bye baby.

Done rode by, begin to understand,
I can't stay in one place I'm a rebelling man.
Gotta move it, gotta get it on, gotta get down,
I'm a partying fool in every town.

Up all night, sleep all day,
Carrying on in a devilish way,
Grab any lady, I make her my baby,
When it comes time to blow I say,

Bye bye baby, no questions asked.
Bye bye baby, I'm free at last.
Bye bye baby, I'm on my way.
Bye bye baby, baby bye bye.

Bye bye baby, no questions asked.
Bye bye baby, I'm free at last.
Bye bye baby, my time has come.
Bye bye baby, and now I'm on the run.

Bye bye baby, no chance to fight me.
Bye bye baby, leave leave leave, leave it behind me.
Bye bye baby, don't need no reasons why.
Bye bye baby, baby bye bye.

I'm out of here baby!
Hasta la vista!
Chow my baby!
Bye bye, bye bye!
Au revoir!
Adios amigo!
Sayonara! Sayonara!
Later!

My OpinionA great representation of Chainsaw Caine's unique vocals. Most likely about one night stands, but done in a humorous way. Chainsaw always said, he was an entertainer first, musician second.
