Do you remember November
When you finally caught that plane?
We all but sold our souls to the day

And you paced outside my house
Like a tiger in a cage
And I tried to keep my cool
As I leaned against the doorframe

Let me take you up these stairs
Let me take you to my life
Let me take you like a lamb
Leading the slaughterer to the knife

Let me take off your left shoe
Let me take off your right
Let me take this opportunity to kneel

Set fire to my music
It wasn't much good anyway
Set fire to these computers
We had to use until today

Now help each other lose
Our ideas of our identities
Now help each other go
We're almost gone already

Because baby, we both know we are both crazy
Baby, we both know we are both crazy

Let me take you to the room
Where we both know we'll be staying
Let me take you in my arms
Until all your old ghosts are slain

Let me put one hand
On the back of your neck
Let me put one hand
On the small of your back
Let me have this dance

Because baby, we both know we are both crazy
Baby, we both know we are both crazy

And you and I both know
That you and I were both born crazy
Baby, we both know we are both crazy

And we both know
That you can stay as long as you would like to stay
You can stay as long as you would like to stay
You can stay as long as you would like to stay
You can stay as long as you would like to stay

General CommentSpencer normally labels his sequels but the content of this song suggests that it's related to Fast Peter, possibly a sequel but from the girl's perspective since Peter was the one who was leaving to go and see her. Lines like "set fire to these computers we had to use until today" (a reference to how they met online and only talk on their computers), or "we both know we are both crazy" (could be applied to when "Peter's leaving town" and they say "who even does that anymore" because it's pretty drastic).

Either way amazing song and definitely my favourite from the album.
