"Casanova" as written by and Ellis Ludwig-leone....
who are you, love, and where have you been?
do you know my face?
i'm sorry, love, but i can't let you in
love don't own this place

and i can't fall asleep in your arms
no i can't fall asleep in your arms
so tell me a story
and i'll put myself to sleep

spider got me when i was your age
a casanova
funny, people start sounding the same
when you're older

and i can't fall asleep in your arms
no i can't fall asleep in your arms
so tell me a story
and i'll put myself to sleep

take a seat, love, and
bring me to Paris
read me The Purple Land
i'll be Abel and
chase you to Lima
holding my hat in hand

call you Paquita and
sing you to sleep, love,
in the purple land

i'll be Abel if
you are Rima
oh, i'll be your land

and i'll
prepare
a place
for you
...

My InterpretationThis is one of my favorite songs by San Fermin. They make beautiful music. This probably isn't the actual meaning of this song. It's just what it makes me think of.
This song makes me think of two people in love. The singer has untimely died. In the first verse, his lover comes looking for him but they can't find him. He knows that they're there but he "can't let them in" because even their love can't bring them together again.
The refrain is my favorite part of the song. He "can't fall asleep in their arms" but he is still comforted by knowing that they are thinking of him.
The rest of the song continues this theme, until the end, where He promises a place for his love in heaven.v
