Take a look around the room,
Love comes wearing disguises.
How to go about and choose.
Break it down by shapes and sizes.
I'm a man who's got very specific taste.

You're just my type.
You got a pulse and you are breathing.
You're just my type.
I think it's time that we get leaving.

When there's loving in the air,
Don't fight it just keep breathing.
I can't help myself but stare.
Double check for double meanings.
I'm a man who's got very specific taste.

You're just my type.
You got a pulse and you are breathing.
You're just my type.
I think it's time that we get leaving.

You're just my type.
You got a pulse and you are breathing.
You're just my type.
I think it's time that we get leaving.

My InterpretationAt first I thought it was about a Don Juan type of guy, but the line "You're just my type, you got a pulse and you are breathing" tells me that he's not the best when it comes to the ladies, and would really go for any girl despite the fact that the first verse gives the impression that he's cool and gets to be picky.

General CommentWhen I first heard the song I thought the line was, "you've got poise and you've got breeding," in the first stanza and at the end "you've got a pulse and you are breathing." Like his expectations got lower through the song.

General CommentThis song seriously creeps me out.

    Sounds so stalkerish/rapey. :P
