"Shark Attack" as written by Christian Zucconi, Hannah Hooper, Andrew Wessen, Sean Gadd and Ryan Rabin....
Yeah, I left my body in a sea of people, and that's just how I'll leave it
Yeah, I left my body in a sea of people, and that's just what I believe in
Yeah, we laughing like a Wednesday night
We ran across the interstate
And drank a bottle of vinegar
And then we stayed up really late

Bring me down, break it down in the hot, hot desert
This is where I wanna be
Bring me down, break it down in the hot, hot desert
This is where I wanna be

And I am what I am, a natural disaster
Pick me up at three, send me off to sea
And maybe I'll come back for you
See, I lost my clothes, I'm skinny-dipping
And I can't understand what I'm after

So as we lay upon this ground, I swear you look like Lucifer
But green is blue, and so are you,
And now we gone to Jupiter (Right now)
To Jupiter (Ah, shit)

Bring me down, break it down in the hot, hot desert
This is where I wanna be
Bring me down, break it down in the hot, hot desert
This is where I wanna be

And I am what I am, a natural disaster
Pick me up at three, send me off to sea
And maybe I'll come back for you
See, I lost my clothes, I'm skinny-dipping
And I can't understand what I'm after

Swim, swim, swim in a swimming pool
The sky is blue, the trees are too
Swim, swim, swim from green to red
Go to bed, you sleepyhead

Swim, swim, swim in your swimming pool
Like swimmers do, I'll call on you

Yeah, I met somebody in a sea of people, and that's just how I'll leave it
Yeah, I left my body in a sea of people, and that's just what I believe in
That's just what I believe in
That's just what I believe in

And I am what I am, a natural disaster
Pick me up at three, send me off to sea
And maybe I'll come back for you
See, I lost my clothes, I'm skinny-dipping
And I can't understand what I'm after

Swim, swim, swim

General CommentAt their Coachella 2014 performance, the lead singer said they have been waiting to play this song at Coachella, that they wrote it there previously and it's about losing your mind in the desert.

My Interpretation"Yeah, I left my body in a sea of people, and that's just how I'll leave it
Yeah, I left my body in a sea of people, and that's just what I believe in"

He's in a large mix of people at Coachella. He's gotten lost in the crowds and has been wondering around.

"Yeah, we laughing like a Wednesday night
    We ran across the interstate
And drank a bottle of vinegar
And then we stayed up really late"

I think this has something to do with shooting up cocaine. When I googled "vinegar drug" I came up with a result that said you mix vinegar with lemon juice in order to inject it. So they shoot up cocaine and stay up all night laughing (cocaine makes you awake).

"Bring me down, break it down in the hot, hot desert
This is where I wanna be
Bring me down, break it down in the hot, hot desert
This is where I wanna be"

He does not want to leave Coachella...it's in the middle of the desert in SoCal. He wants to get high on cocaine and hang around his bandmates all day...

"So as we lay upon this ground, I swear you look like Lucifer
But green is blue, and so are you,
And now we gone to Jupiter (Right now)
    To Jupiter (Ah, shit)"

He's tripping from all these drugs he's on. He swears his friends are lucifer and they're all green...his mind is travelling to distant places.

"Swim, swim, swim in a swimming pool
The sky is blue, the trees are too
Swim, swim, swim from green to red
    Go to bed, you sleepyhead"

More tripping. He's seeing things in different colors and is beginning to nod off.

"And I am what I am, a natural disaster
Pick me up at three, send me off to sea
And maybe I'll come back for you
    See, I lost my clothes, I'm skinny-dipping
    And I can't understand what I'm after"

He's skinny dipping in the pool, looking for sharks when there are none because he's so high...he can't even make sense of it, but he's doing it.

General CommentFeeling like an amusing fool on an acid trip, lacking a clear focus and just appreciating the fun simple times as they are will also lead to a sense of doubt just like all other walks of life.
