"Shyer" as written by Daniel Harry Joseph Rothman, Dominic Ashley Ronald Major, Hannah Felicity May Reid and Joel Potts....
I'm feeling shyer and the world gets darker
Hold yourself a little higher
Bridge that gap just further
And all your being
I'd ask you to give it up
Oh ancient feeling love
So beautifully dressed up

Feeling shyer
I'm feeling shyer
I'm feeling shyer

Maybe you should call her
Deep in the night for her
And all your being I'd ask you to give it up
I'd ask you to give it up

Hei, give it up
we would give it up

My OpinionI believe this is a person who is afraid of expressing her feelings to someone she loves, probably a close friend. She gets depressed because the friend is in love with someone else. The friend speaks with her about how to express his/her feeling to this other boy/girl.
She wants to be a good friend and give good advice to him/her, but she is always torn between letting her own feelings out and helping.
