"Count Me Out" as written by Steven Ansell and Laura Carter....
Counting on the words that just repeat
Hoping soon that it will feel complete
How can we believe in what we see?
How can we believe in what we read?

Always empty
(It's loud, it's loud)
Always not me
(It's loud, it's loud)
Always empty
Always not me

Moving through the motion step by step
(oh oh oh, oh oh oh)
Keeping strong opinions and regret
(oh oh oh, oh oh oh)
How can we believe in what was said?
(oh oh oh, oh oh oh)
How can we go on? What happens next?
(oh oh oh, oh oh oh)

Always empty
(It's loud, it's loud)
Always not me
(It's loud, it's loud)
Always empty
Always not me

Always empty
(It's loud, it's loud)
Always not me
(It's loud, it's loud)
Always empty
Always not me

Count me out
I'm not here
Count me out
I'm not here
Count me out
I'm not here
Count me out
I'm not here

General CommentI think a lot of the songs on Fire Like This are about not caring that you're different/people saying your different. Personally once I understood this, the lyrics started making more sense.
