The frame, the friction.
It's the reason that we all become aware.
And we change for no reason.
Some say it's better to fall asleep and disappear.

It's time we finally look at what we've done and wake up.

So here we are, we're waiting for a fall.
And on the radio they're calling on satellites
like they're going to save us all.
So here we are, I guess I'm praying after all.
We're calling all, calling all satellites.
This is a wake up call.

A call for freedom.
Ain't that the reason that we are alive?
And we waste, we waste our lives on the wasted
Until there's nothing for us left to justify.
Oh, I don't get it.

So here we are, we're waiting for a fall.
And on the radio they're calling on satellites
like they're going to save us all.
So here we are, I guess I'm praying after all.
We're calling all, calling all satellites.
This is a wake up call.

Change, no reason.
Some say it's better to fall asleep and disappear.
It's time we finally open up our eyes.
4... 3...2...

Here we are, we're waiting for a fall.
And on the radio they're calling on satellites
like they're going to save us all.
So here we are, I guess I'm praying after all.
We're calling all, calling all satellites.
This is a wake up call.

General CommentI love this song <3 in a way, it sort of has the sound that who are you now had.. that's just my opinion though .. The lyrics sort of sound like how he doesn't let fame and haters affect him. I've listened to the song soo much I'm still trying to figure out the meaning more though.

My InterpretationI really love this song.
This was one of those songs that make you think.
I think this song talks about how we, humans, have "destroyed" our planet, by taking pieces of land. In "And we waste, we waste our lives on the wasted
Until there's nothing for us left to justify." leaves it clear.
In this song, the band was trying to say that we need to think about it, not the whole "go green" and that stuff, but also, the way the human mind has changed.

My InterpretationWhat a great song. I think its about not waiting for someone or something else to save you from your problems. We shouldn't wait on other things to bring us or our happiness. These other things are the 'Satellites'.

Whether it is from depression, sadness, heartache, or any of your day to day problems. We must not waste our lives, worrying and regretting, over something that has already been lost. Move on. We need to free ourselves from this mindset of conditional happiness.

My InterpretationThe Frame, is a way of saying how someone views us, almost like a picture. The friction, refers to how we want to change in order to change how others see us, and how that can be challenging. However the main point of the line is that really you should just be yourself, don’t conform or let others paint you into something you arent. so to speak, stop worrying about what they think. "Some say it's better to fall asleep and disappear". When life gets worse, we find an escape. Falling asleep and wanting to disappear are some. We want to get rid of everything by getting rid of ourselves. "It's time we finally look at what we've done and wake up". It really is time for people to stop worrying so much about what others think and how society views them, perhaps a wake up call is exactly what society needs in order for this to happen, but what will it actually take? Peer pressure and bullying are everyday occurrences so what will it take for people to stop judging and start accepting people? The next part goes on to say that on the radio people call on others to help solve their own problems like they’re supposed to save us. Next it goes on to talk about freedom and how it's our reason to be alive and we shouldn't waste it. What do we have left in the end to justify our existence? I don't get it either, we waste our lives instead of just enjoying them. Why should we change? Theres no reason? Maybe we should just lay down and fade out of existence? No, we need to wake up and solve our own problems. No ones gonna save us, no one except ourselves. Get out and enjoy life, be yourself and paint your own picture. Enjoy life to the fullest without worry what other people think. That's the main point behind the song I believe.
