"I Hate You, Dont Leave Me" as written by Evan Bogart, Emanuel Kiriakou, Demi Lovato and Andrew Goldstein....
Hey, yeah yeah
I hate you, don't leave me
I feel like I can't breathe
Just hold me, don't touch me
And I want you to love me
But I need you to trust me
Stay with me, set me free
But I can't back down
No, I can't deny
That I'm staying now
'Cause I can't decide
Confused and scared
I am terrified of you
I admit I'm in and out of my head
Don't listen to a single word I've said
Just hear me out before you run away
'Cause I can't take this pain
I hate you, don't leave me
I hate you, don't leave me
'Cause I love when you kiss me
I'm in pieces, you complete me
But I can't back down
No, I can't deny
That I'm staying now
'Cause I can't decide
Confused and scared
I am terrified of you
I admit I'm in and out of my head
Don't listen to a single word I've said
Just hear me out before you run away
'Cause I can't take this pain, no
I'm addicted to the madness
I'm a daughter of the sadness
I've been here too many times before
Been abandoned and I'm scared now
I can't handle another fall out
I'm fragile, just washed upon the shore
They forget me, don't see me
When they love me, they leave me
I admit I'm in and out of my head
Don't listen to a single word I've said
Just hear me out before you run away
'Cause I can't take this pain
No, I can't take this pain
I hate you, don't leave me
I hate you, please love me

General Commentits deeper than just about a relationship is about her bipolar disorder. its when you can be really happy one minute and really sad the next like below sad. and I think its about how everyone leaves her and how she cant stop being sad and happy because its like an addiction

General CommentIt's about her Bi-polar disorder and maybe borderline personality disorder... it's not only the change of the mood, it's the inability to cope with feelings of love and intimacy... she's afraid because when they love, they leave so she'd rather push them away but she's afraid of being alone...

General CommentI think this song is about - she likes a boy but she doesn't want to but everytime she tells herself to stop liking him she starts to like him more

General CommentIt's about an on-and-off relationship. She and her guy are on the way to break up but she can't decide what to do. Even though the romance isn't good for her (or them) she loves him more anything you could imagine and that guy means the world to her. She's afraid of being alone.

I'm a daughter of the sadness - she refers to her depression
I've been here too many times before - referring to breakups
Been abandoned and I'm scared now - maybe this line is about her father?

When they love me, they leave me - this is the most saddest line for me.

General CommentThe meaning has been stated. It's about bi-polar disorder/Borderline Personality Disorder. Me suffering from BPD can easily relate to this song. But when I decided to look it up I found a much older video with the same title by a rock/metalist band. Mindset. Same lyrics pretty much to. So id say this is a cover even if it's not pronounced as one. Either way still great meaningful lyrics.
