"Dream Run" as written by and Jeffrey Cleve Ling Benjamin Michael Gordon....
Do you remember all those nights
When we stood side by side
And we said, "we'll save the goodbyes"
The night is young
We still have time

In my dreams I see it ending
I see the sky descending
And I let the sadness empty from my heart
'Cause in my dreams I feel I'm falling
And I hear the darkness calling
Don't wake me up until the morning's light

Because I've never felt more alive

Do you remember all those nights
When we stood side by side
And we said, "we'll save the goodbyes"
The night is young

Well I never want to press rewind
Every mistake that lead us here
I wouldn't change for anything
I wouldn't change for anything
I wouldn't change for anything
Dear girl, there is a world that stands between us and them
See this was never about giving up, just giving in

Because you only live once
But you spend your whole life dying
So when it all comes crashing, know you're not alone

You're not alone

You only live once
But you spend your whole life dying
So when it all comes crashing, know you're not alone
Alone
Alone
Alone

We welcome death with all our sins
There is no fear when this life ends

We welcome death with all our sins
There is no fear when this life ends

We welcome death with all our sins
There is no fear

There is no fear

Do you remember
Do you remember

Do you remember all those nights
When we stood side by side
And we said, "we'll save the goodbyes"
The night is young

Do you remember all those nights
When we stood side by side
And we said, "we'll save the goodbyes"
The night is young
We still have time

'Cause I've never felt more alive
I've never felt more alive
Alive
Alive
Alive

My InterpretationThis song basically sums up my love life I'm living in right now. I really love Winston's emotion in lyrics compared to all the other artists. Winston just shows that real emotion that I feel I can really connect with. PWD!!!

Winston himself or the character he is talking about is in a relationship that's seems to be in the final days of ending. Amongst the two, they wanted to be with each other till the end. They saved the goodbyes, (never wanting to let go of this relationship, but its like a ruse that can rarely stay true) . But Winston describes that he doesn't see it lasting cause maybe he doubts this "love" is actually real anymore .( like a hybrid of an unrequited love) He feels the girl he is in love with doesn't love him anymore. So those days of doubts he just questions himself, cries perhaps in confusion. He knows when the day comes, that relationship will end, but he wants to prolong it from happening and he still wants to keep holding on to that relationship. The character realizes its coming to an end, and facing the actualization of what's to come, he stops caring of the outcome because he wouldn't have given up that little time that he had with that girl for anything else. he appreciates the love that was there and doesn't curse it with a bad mouth. The character knows that just like everyone else, some love and relationships just come to an end. Some bitter and some still say sweet even after a break -up. Thanks Winston for describing my look on what my doubts are coming to. it could happen and I hope it NEVER ends.

My InterpretationOh yeah. The character also understands that others don't want the two to be with each other. Noticed in the part where he says

"Dear girl, there is a world that stands between us and them
See this was never about giving up, just giving in"
