on the bed in the evening
she is mine to keep
we are nothing like strangers
i'm a captive in sleep
if there's some point in rising
than it's yet to be seen
we are chasing a rabbit
on a field of green

she's my big eyed girl
she's my big eyed girl
she's my big eyed girl
she's my...

they're an ocean repeating
she is endless and far
so i traced her in currents
tie your hair in a knot
i'm not trying to catch her
or to carry her weight
i only wanted to chase her
through the empty estate

she's my big eyed girl
she's my big eyed girl
she's my big eyed girl
she's my

she's my big eyed girl
she's my big eyed girl
she's my big eyed girl
she's my
she's my
she's my

My InterpretationI think it's about realizing that the person you are with, that in the beginning seemed like a temporary thing (just to fool around chasing rabbits (?)), turns to be more important, but still you don't want to get attached too much to that person.
