"The Real Thing" as written by and Frederic Moulin Christian Mazzalai....
They say that you don't
You promised you will
I'm calling my number
To sort out the thrill

Almost, almost, almost the real thing
How could I have missed that one?
How could I have missed it?

Am I the only one,
Your Lancelot?
Twenty-year-old and bored
Run for a better future

Pour lava in the ocean
Drown into the throne that you sit on
Follow, follow, follow me

Holy Father and Son
It's not enough for you to live on
So long, so long Salomé

Tell me that's what you wanted
Follow, follow me
Follow me
Follow, follow me
Follow me

You're more than I want
I figured you will
Back in September
We'll make it a deal

Almost, almost, almost the real thing
How could I have missed that one?
How could I have missed it?
Am I the only one,
Your Lancelot?
Twenty years often bored
Run for a better future

Pour lava in the ocean
Turn the eternal carousel on
Follow, follow, follow me

Holy Father and Son
It's odd enough for you to live on
So long, so long Salomé

Tell me that's what you wanted
Follow,
Follow, follow me
Follow me
Follow, follow me
Follow me
Follow, follow me
Follow me

General CommentHuh, he's just in love in a girl who don't want him, but she don't wanna tell him it straight. So, she tells yes, but she's telling the others the truth, that she don't. So, they're trying to tell him that she doesn't love him, but she keeps saying that she do. She is just a son of a b*tch, exactly like my ex-girlfriend.
That's one of the reasons that I like their songs, they're sooo true.

My InterpretationWell Lancelot was the kings man who betrayed king authur thus destroying his relationship. Salomé is a biblical reference to erotic dancing and lust. So pretty much this girl is trouble- everyone's warned him but now he sees the chaos she's created--"pour lava in the ocean". Pretty much she's doing it because she's bored and has this "power" he missed. I think he's asking her to surrender herself sort of, like he finally understands what she's doing with him now admit it.

General CommentI think he talks to god
He wants his protection, because he feels lost, but everyone says, god couldn´t help him.
    "Follow me"
    "They say that you don't
    You promised you will"
"Drown into the throne that you sit on"
