"Waiting for Something to Happen" as written by and Roxanne Melissa Clifford Patrick Ciaran Doyle....
If you don't realize
There's no sacrifice
If you feel the way I do
(If you feel like I do)
And the world won't wait for you
(The world won't wait for you)

Everybody’s crazy,
What's your excuse, baby?
Standing in the middle waiting for something to happen
Are you waiting for something to happen?

If you don't know what's right
Where's the sacrifice?
If you take a look around
(Just take a look around)
Tell them what we found
(Just tell them what we found)

Everybody’s crazy
What's your excuse, baby?
Standing in the middle waiting for something to happen
Are you waiting for something to happen?

Everybody tells me
(Everybody tells me)
There’s no excuse, baby
(There's no excuse, baby)
If everybody's crazy
(Everybody's crazy)
There's no excuse, baby
(There's no excuse, baby)
Standing in the middle waiting for something to happen

Are you waiting for something to happen?
(What you waiting for, what you waiting for)
Are you waiting for something to happen?
(What you waiting for, what you waiting for)
Are you waiting for something to happen?
(What you waiting for, what you waiting for)
Are you waiting for something to happen?
(What you waiting for, what you waiting for)
Are you waiting for something to happen?

General Commenti see this song about intimacy ......a person is sabotaging a relationship and using his/her madness to do so........the singer is saying look we ALL are insane and it doesn't stop others from being committed to some one so quit making excuses.....waiting for something to happen is not going to lead anywhere towards passionate vulnerability
