"Stark Weather" as written by Derek Pressnall, Nicholas Fackler and Sarah Elizabeth Boehling....
I would kill a man down at the gas station for you.
I would kill your parents, and your baby sister too.
I would rob a bank, take all of the cash.
Anything to be with you.

They can't take our love, It's all that we have.
Down the back road into the motel we will hide.
When we wake up there, In the sunlight
Everything will finally be alright.

So you go get your gun now, baby.
We could steal a car now, baby.
Let's keep running into the night is young.
So you go get your gun now, baby.
We could steal a car now, baby.
Let's keep running into the night is ours.

As the bullets fly, Shattering the glass.
I can feel your love, and I know it's gonna' last.
Through the smoke and fire, I can see your eyes.
Baby take my hand onto the other side.

So you go get your gun now, baby.
We could steal a car now, baby.
Let's keep running into the night is young.
So you go get your gun now, baby.
We could steal a car now, baby.
Let's keep running into the night is ours. (X2)

Song MeaningListening to the song, and just really understanding the words, this song is about Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow. They were outlaws, robbers, and criminals who traveled the Central United States with their gang during the Great Depression.
This song expresses a deeper meaning of love. After they committed crimes, it was known that they would have "wild, passionate sex". Essentially, they would do anything for each other, and their love was so strong, even in their final moments. Not even death could separate them.

General CommentActually this song is about Charles Starkweather and his girlfriend Caril Ann Fugate, a teenage couple who had gone on a 2-month crime/murder spree back in the late 50's. Some of the victims being mentioned in the song, like the gas station attendant, her parents and baby sister, and etc.
