Just hear the rain come down
I wish that you were need me
There’s no one else around
I wish that you could hear me say
I know you gotta have the pain,
in order to have the growth
I think I’m ready, darlin'
I will accept them both
for love

My body tends towards habit
My heart it longs for something new
Sometimes you gotta have it
That’s the way I feel about you
I know you gotta give
in order to get it back
I think I’m ready, darlin’
I know just what I lacked.
It’s love

I wanna
I wanna
I wanna love you

I wanna love
I wanna love
I wanna love you, baby

I wanna love
I wanna love
I wanna love you, darlin’

I went to work this morning
Everything in the same old place
It hit me like a warning
I used to see it on your face
I’m gonna take this train
And drive it right off the tracks
I think I’m ready, darlin’
I know I’m switching back for love

I wanna love
I want love
I wanna love you

I wanna love
I wanna love
I wanna love
I wanna love you

I wanna love
I wanna love
I wanna love you

I wanna love… you

I wanna love

I wanna love

General CommentIt's such an honor to be able to interpret a such a remarkable song. I've done it only 2x before, and for some strange reason the simple accomplishment offers such an incredible high. I suppose when the song is so touching on an emotional level it all makes sense.

Not a huge fan of Kath Bloom's voice, but for this particular song it is perfect. There is an innocence, a purity, to her voice, which is necessary for this simple, yet poignant song. It's just incredibly special.

The thought that she perhaps was somewhere strumming on an acoustic guitar thinking about someone in her life (or from her past) and this song was created during that moment just gives me chills. I have loved this song since first hearing it quite a few years ago. Please check it out on Youtube (or elsewhere) if you yet haven't had the priviledge of hearing it.
