"Damage" as written by Jason Mcarthur, Anthony Armstrong, Joe Rickard, Randy Armstrong, Mike Barnes and Hunter Lamb....
Now the damage is done
I can't escape, can't run
Can't undo what I've done (I'm waiting)

And do you hear me now
Will you answer me
Are you even there
So look away

All I do is damage, damage
It's destroying me
All I do is damage, damage
No I'm sick of the misery

Hear me
I am ruined to breathe
I am crashing back
I'm a catastrophe

(I'm waiting)

Hear me
I am ruined to breathe
I am crashing back
I'm a catastrophe

All I do is damage, damage
It's destroying me
All I do is damage, damage
No I'm sick of the misery

Take this away
It was just a mistake
Save me
'Cause all I do is damage

I am covered in shame
There is no one to blame
I am covered in shame
I have no one to blame
I have no one to blame
I am covered in shame
I have no one to blame
I have no one to blame

Shame
I am covered, I am covered
Shame
I am covered

Take this away
It was just a mistake
Save me
I'm a catastrophe

All I do is damage, damage
It's destroying me
All I do is damage, damage
No I'm sick of the misery

All I do is damage, damage
It's destroying me
All I do is damage, damage
No I'm sick of the misery
Misery

General CommentThis person obviously sins a lot and does it quite often. This person may be a heavy drinker or a killer. This person realize that he or she must change and is crying out for help!

My InterpretationThe recognition that everything he has become is wrong. Perhaps a path begun by "one simple mistake", now exhausted and overwhelmed by who he is ... reaching rock bottom, knowing it, and ultimately pleading to be saved.
